Because it’s February (the month of love – and you know we love you!) and in honor of our first Colorado Loopy Ewe Spring Fling coming up, we thought it would be fun to give away a spot at our Spring Fling for a contest this month. Not only that, but if you win, you get to pick a friend to bring along with you. We saved a spot for them, too! You cover the cost of getting yourself to the hotel (by plane, train or automobile), and we’ll provide you both with the Fling weekend package for free. (Pop on over to this blog post to see what is included in the Fling weekend package.) If you have already signed up for a spot at the Fling, you’re still eligible to enter the contest and get your Fling package for free for you and a friend. We don’t want to leave you out. The Spring Fling dates are April 18-21, Thursday evening through Sunday morning.
So do you need a weekend away with your best buddy? Would you like to hang out with a bunch of great knitters, visit Loopy Central, take a class, get a goodie bag and relax all weekend? Wouldn’t this be a blast! I would love to go to Spring Fling. As for who I would take with me? Hmmm I am not sure. Maybe a friend from my spinning guild that I haven’t seen in way to long.
I would love to come to spring fling and I know exactly who I would bring!! My sister. I live in Wyoming and she lives in Denver and we could meet at the Fling! We both love to knit so it would be a special treat!

This is the best contest ever!!! My neighbor and I belong to the same charity knitting group and talk about our knitting every morning as we walk our dogs together. She is a great friend and travel companion and I would love to surprise her with a trip. So my friend Susan would be my pick.
Oh my goodness! I could surely use this trip! My husband has a tumor, my son has Crohn’s and needs his 6th surgery. I’m just so completely overwhelmed here with health issues! Thank goodness I have my weekly knitting group! Who I would bring is a very good friend from my knitting group. She’s a master knitter, and always is willing to help everyone with their problems and questions. She’s such an unselfish knitter, and all around great person! She has been very supportive and an amazing shoulder for me to lean on. Being able to bring her with me would be just a small thank you to her for all her time and support!
I have never attended a knitting retreat before and I would love to meet new knitters and bring my only knitting buddy if she will( fingers crossed)!

I’d love to bring one of the new friends I’ll meet in Wales at Amy Singer’s P3 retreat in March. I didn’t put my name in for a Spring Fling spot because we’re going to the UK, but it would be beyond terrific to be able to attend both. 🙂

I would like to attend the Spring Fling because I have never been able to go to an event like this. The Loopy Ewe used to be right here in St. Louis but since you moved, I can’t go to the store any more. I would like to bring my friend Judy Walker from California because she has been very ill and unable to go to very many places. She is undergoing eye surgery and will be able to see much better by the time of the Spring Fling. She is like a sister to me and we have never been to any events together. I would like to be able to take her with me for a BFF Spring Fling weekend. I know that we both would appreciate being able to attend.
It would be a dream come true. I have been a loopy groupy for years and never have been chosen. I would love to bring my daughter, Stephanie, who is a pediatric oncology nurse and really needs a weekend of fun and new friends.

This Spring Fling entry option is just awesome! Our family has had about 12 (yes!) tough years, and it would be wonderful to get away for some fresh new ideas and to meet new knitting friends. I would likely bring my friend, Chus, or my friend, Helen.
