Prayers and Good Wishes

dsc01318Many of you have called in and talked with Susan here at Loopy Central (or traded emails with her). She was the first official Loopy Elf and we had been friends for years before that. Now she’s our Office Manager and she’s the one that I describe by saying, “I couldn’t do this business without her, and I wouldn’t want to.” She and the other elves keep the orders moving out quickly and efficiently. She will be going in for Breast Cancer surgery tomorrow and I knew that all of you would want to know. I asked her if I could share this on the blog and she said, “Well, the more prayers the better, right?” We’re all hoping for a quick recovery for her and the best news possible on all accounts.  I will keep you posted.  She has a great outlook and she’s not a worrier. (I told her I’d worry enough for both of us.) Thank you for being the kind, caring group that I know you are. I know you’ll keep her prayed up and loved through this, and so will all of us here at Loopy.

  1. Will be thinking about you Elf Susan. Best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery.

And Sheri, let’s remind everyone to do their breast self-exams MONTHLY, physician exam yearly, and mammograms for all if you’re over 40.

  2. Susan, My thoughts and prayers are with you. I will be praying for you and your family. I am glad that you have a very positive outlook, and with all of us in your corner you will win the battle. Hugs & Love

  6. Sheri,

Please let Susan know that God does answer prayer, and my family will be adding her to prayer tonight.. I’ll let my knitting group know to keep her in their prayers. Here’s a big hug!!

  7. Susan, It sucks that you have cancer but you have a great attitude and that is half the battle. Best wishes and you are in my prayers.

P.S. I’m going to call and schedule my exam tomorrow.

  8. Susan – My prayers are with you. As you face the challenges of the coming days, may you know without a doubt the comfort and peace of our Lord and His healing power in your life. May your family be blessed and comforted, as well.

  9. As a breast cancer survivor for ten years I can tell you that the road is not easy but is doable. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and you WILL have a speedy recovery. The American Cancer Society has wonderful support programs for breast cancer patients, all run by survivors that make you feel sooo good and can answer all the questions that you have about it, including the ones that seem to be too silly to ask anybody. I am sure that somebody from them will contact you in the near future, if not is a good thing to contact them. I am sending you a lot of positive thoughts and energy and a BIG hug. Keep us posted on your progress and came back soon, we will miss you.

  10. My prayers and thoughts are with you tonight and tomorrow, Susan and the days ahead as you recover.

Sheri, I will be getting an exam within a few weeks as I found a lump and had an initial test today.

  15. My MIL just had successful breast surgery at, wait for it, 90 years old! She said it was all the prayers ascending for her that made it as successful as it was.

I’m not arguing with a 90 year old woman! There’s plenty more where that came from.
