This Uncommon Thread yarn has been one of my favorite lines ever since we added it to the shop over two years ago. It’s luscious and the colors are stunning and it just feels so great when you knit with it (or wear it!). I used the Lush Worsted for my August Camp Loopy project – The Weekender. After I finished the sweater (August 27th – just in the knick of time), I came right in to Loopy to pick out a second color for another one. Love how it fits, and loved every minute of knitting it up. I’m thinking it would make a good Loopy Knight Quest project this fall.
Here is the Stone Point poncho that I did out of Uncommon Thread Merino DK. We always have it on display in the shop and I know a lot of you have purchased the pattern to make your own. The Merino DK base doesn’t have the Cashmere in it like the Lush Worsted, but somehow it manages to still feel extraordinarily wonderful, even without it. (I either need to knit a second one or take back the shop model. Fall is the perfect time to be wearing ponchos like this.)
We have re-stocked all bases in The Uncommon Thread today.
It’s a great time to get yourself a sweaters worth of beautiful yarn for the fall.
Last week’s Yarn Update included: Dream in Color Knights of the Loopy Table colorways, Knights Project Bags and Totes, Uschitita Fibre Art’s Merino Sock, Malabrigo Rios, Sock and Rasta, and a big re-stock of Wild Wild Wool Pompons, just in time for cooler weather!

P.S. The Dream in Color September Pop Up Skein also went up today. A gorgeous fall color on a 50% Merino Wool, 50% Silk fingering weight base!
