I wish you all could walk down the Uschitita aisle at Loopy. It’s a thing of beauty. (Of course we don’t usually get to keep a whole aisle of this gorgeous yarn for too long, but right now it looks beautiful. Here’s part of it. Too much to fit into one photo.) We have both Merino Sock and Merino Singles.
Steffi and her husband Juergen run their business from The Netherlands. Steffi is a physician, a proud squirrel mom, and someone who has an amazing sense of color.
How does it knit up? Here is a Reyna Shawl I did out of one of their colorways.
The color is well distributed and vibrant. The color combinations are unique. Here are some other pattern ideas:
Stonehedge Fiber Mill – we’ve re-stocked:
Shepherd’s Wool Worsted (worsted weight, 100% wool)
What I’m working on:
I finished two cowls this past week. The Escarpment Cowl (uses 2 skeins of Malabrigo Caprino), and the Present Cowl (uses two colors of Cascade 220 Superwash Aran. I modified the pattern a bit and striped it.) I set my crochet project aside for a bit – my thumb is sore. (Does that happen from time to time when you crochet? I obviously don’t do it often enough.) Still need to finish Walcot Opus Belmina and Dream in Color Ashburn. And have some undercover projects I’m working on. Seriously, how many projects are too many? I’m pushing the boundaries.
