It has been a month since our last Yarn Update. And what a month! We moved from our almost seven year location to a new shop home, and we love it here. If you are local or going to be near Fort Collins, CO this summer, come see us! (New address: 4856-A Innovation Drive, 80525. It’s also listed on our website and all of our social media accounts, as well as at the bottom of our newsletters. Just in case you lose it!) We’d love to see you.
In this week’s Yarn Update, we have gorgeous yarn and more Cavallini:
Dream in Color City – Have you tried City yet? This worsted weight yarn is awseome to work with. (I used it for my Cold Brew Hat & Mitts.) I loved the feel of it, as well as working with it. It’s definitely on my future sweater list.
Dream in Color Mini Skein Sets – These two options (Fall Rainbow and Spring Flowers) are stunning, and were designed to go along with The Crown Wools MKAL (by Casapinka). Dyed up on Smooshy with Cashmere base, each 133 yard skein is perfect for using in the MKAL, or for collecting beautiful minis for future projects. There are 12 skeins in the set, with a total of 1596 yards in all. We have the Fall Rainbow set and the Spring Flowers set.
Knerd String Fingering – We’ve re-stocked the beautiful colors that Renee comes up with her in dye studio. These fingering weight skeins have 463 yards in the skein.
Knerd String Sport – Need something a little heavier? Knerd String Sport might be just right for you. You’ll get 328 yards in these skeins. (I did my first Shindig out of Knerd Sport.)
Cavallini – We’re project scribblers around here. We take notes, we count rows with hashmarks, and we write down new patterns and ideas that we get when listening to podcasts. It just helps to have a notebook and pencils (and sometimes sticky notes) in each project bag. We’ve re-stocked our favorites, and have more coming next week as well.
Our last Yarn Update included:
Madelinetosh Vintage, Madelinetosh Merino Light, Miyuki Beads, Stonehedge Fiber Mill’s Shepherd’s Wool Worsted, Rosy Green Wool Big Merino Hug, and Rosy Green Wook Cheeky Merino Joy.
Have fun shopping through the new things and we’ll be back with more next week!
Sheri and The Loopy Ewe Crew
I am soooooo glad that your weekly yarn updates are back! It seems like 6 months since the last one! Hopefully, you’ve caught up a little bit on your sleep since the moving madness. Can’t wait to visit your new digs!
I agree – it has been too long! Glad to be back to regular Monday Updates now. Thanks for missing us!
What is the file size of a Camp Loopy project to post to TLE website?
Hi Linda – It needs to be smaller than 4 mb to upload.
