Our New Project Planner, Fall Giftables, & CONTEST 5!

Project-Planner-The-Loopy-Ewe1We have a new feature on the website for you! This has been in the works for quite some time, and it’s a lot of fun to work with, as well as being really handy for planning future projects. With our new Project Planner you can:

– see how different yarn or fabric colors work together
– see how prices, weights, gauges compare
– get a cost for the project – keep track of multiple projects
– share your planner page link with a friend to get an opinion (or to inspire them to knit along with you!)
Project-Planner-The-Loopy-Ewe3– leave notes for yourself (Which pattern? Which color for which section? Any other thoughts?)
– indicate how many skeins are needed of each color
– easily transfer it over to your shopping cart to purchase
– or save it for later while you think it over or start a new planning page for a different project

You’ll always find your saved Project Plans on your Loopy account page, once you’ve logged in.

Project-Planner-The-Loopy-Ewe5On each individual product page on our website, you’ll see the “Add to Wishlist” link (which we’ve always had) and now a new “Add to Project Planner” link below that. I have been busy planning some of my Christmas gift knitting projects, as well as a couple of other knitting projects and some quilts that I want to do. (I may be having too much fun with this feature.) You can click on the photo to enlarge it and see what I’m working on. I also realized that having multiple projects planned lets me see if I have too much of the same color going on. (I’m talking about you, Teal!) Read about our new Project Planner here, and then try it out!

We are ready for Fall Giftables signups, and the first kit is shipping the third week in September! Remember – by taking a spot, you’re committing to purchasing all three kits in the Club. To secure your spot, we’re having you pre-pay for the first month. (Again, this will ship out to you around the third week in September.) We’ll invoice you in mid October and mid November for the other two kits. You also have the option of paying for all three months (September, October, November) right off the bat, if you’d prefer. (If you signed up for your last Giftables Club and dropped out midway through, you will need to prepay for all three months to reserve a spot this time.) We have pretty yarn, fun accessories, and beautiful patterns all lined up for you this fall, and look forward to shipping them out to you!

  1. I would have to say the favorite part of my day was making blueberry pancakes with my boyfriend for dinner tonight. Love the nights we can cook together!

  2. the best thing about my day was going out to dinner with my husband (still feels strange to call him that). Only been married about a month and a half

    1. Congrats! I hope you get the same warm fuzzy when someone calls you “Mrs.” (And may it always be so!)

  3. My favorite thing today is my favorite thing most days…. coming *home* after my day at work to my kitty and my two puppies, who all act as if it has been a WEEK since I left this morning to go to work. To come home to my furbabies who lovelovelove their mama…. that’s some pretty good stuff! 🙂

  4. The highlight of my day was a group text among my closest knitting friends and I was alerted to the Fall giftables. I am relatively new to knitting, even newer to the Loopy family, but I could not wait to get home from church to get on line and explore. And then to find out about the project planner…. whuwhat??? (said with inflection and squeal) I’m in love with Loopy. Fireworks. Butterflies. I got it bad!!!

  5. I faced a fear, and came out on the other side feeling like I did the right thing. I’ll take that. 🙂

  6. My favorite thing about today is I heard a work colleague who was severely injured thru work (cop) is getting better!

  7. My favorite thing today was when I cuddled my 4 year son before bed and he told me I was his “best buddy.”

  8. I had an unexpected phone call from a rug hooking (traditional with cut strips of wool fabric) friend that I hadn’t
talked to in quite a while. It was great to catch up.

  9. My favorite part of today was getting off work! My second favorite part was finally getting to sit down and knit some. 🙂

  10. My favorite part of the day was learning about the project planner!!! I have been hoping for something like this for a long time! 🙂

  11. My favorite thing today was getting a good report from my daughter on the start of her college classes.

  12. The best thing today was getting a video of my youngest grandson crawling!!!! He started today and my DIL taped him and sent the video. Cutest thing ever!!!!

  13. Favorite thing about my day was finding some great new organizers for my classroom, followed by dinner at Olive Garden with a friend who is also a teacher – fun!

  14. My favorite thing of today was winding my 5th skein of Loopy Ewe yarn for my new pattern! I am loving how it is coming out! Now to pick the next color in the solid series for the next size????

  15. My favorite part of the day (other than hugging my seven y.o. daughter) was meeting lots of nice people at my new job!

  16. Favorite thing about today – quiet down time after work – one of my cats sitting on the arm of the chair – having yet another hat almost off the needles-God has blessed me so!

  17. Driving to and from an appointment with my 11-year old son, the windows down and the radio playing great tunes. It was a beautiful, breezy summer day and we enjoyed the road trip.

  18. My favorite thing so far today…picking my daughter up from school. I love hearing about all of the new things she learned in her excited and enthusiastic voice.

  19. Best part of the day: drinking a hard pear cider after fixing my mistake on Camp Loopy project #3. Back on track to finish Friday or Saturday.

  20. I did get to play with a little fabric today (definitely a highlight!) but the best part of the day was being able to spend some time with all four of my grandkids.
Thanks for the chance to win!
    Marie

  21. Favorite part of today was hearing that my CO cousin’s little baby girl was born this morning! Mother and baby both healthy and happy. Almost done with yummy Madelinetosh baby blanket for little one!

  22. My cousin told me how amazing and wonderful she thinks I am! I’m just me but she thinks I’m pretty special. Made my day!

  23. I teach music K-12th grades, and tonight was our Open House. My favorite part of the day was seeing all of the students again, especially the little ones who are so excited about coming back to school again! And even the older ones that I’ve been teaching since they were little 5-year-olds. I’ve gotten to watch them grow up – it’s bittersweet to see the seniors who will only have one more year of childhood with us. I remember when they were little 5K babies just yesterday. Oh man, I think I’ve got something in both of my eyes…
