We have a new feature on the website for you! This has been in the works for quite some time, and it’s a lot of fun to work with, as well as being really handy for planning future projects. With our new Project Planner you can:
– see how different yarn or fabric colors work together
– see how prices, weights, gauges compare
– get a cost for the project – keep track of multiple projects
– share your planner page link with a friend to get an opinion (or to inspire them to knit along with you!)
– leave notes for yourself (Which pattern? Which color for which section? Any other thoughts?)
– indicate how many skeins are needed of each color
– easily transfer it over to your shopping cart to purchase
– or save it for later while you think it over or start a new planning page for a different project
You’ll always find your saved Project Plans on your Loopy account page, once you’ve logged in.
On each individual product page on our website, you’ll see the “Add to Wishlist” link (which we’ve always had) and now a new “Add to Project Planner” link below that. I have been busy planning some of my Christmas gift knitting projects, as well as a couple of other knitting projects and some quilts that I want to do. (I may be having too much fun with this feature.) You can click on the photo to enlarge it and see what I’m working on. I also realized that having multiple projects planned lets me see if I have too much of the same color going on. (I’m talking about you, Teal!) We are ready for Fall Giftables signups, and the first kit is shipping the third week in September! Remember – by taking a spot, you’re committing to purchasing all three kits in the Club. To secure your spot, we’re having you pre-pay for the first month. (Again, this will ship out to you around the third week in September.) We’ll invoice you in mid October and mid November for the other two kits. You also have the option of paying for all three months (September, October, November) right off the bat, if you’d prefer. (If you signed up for your last Giftables Club and dropped out midway through, you will need to prepay for all three months to reserve a spot this time.) We have pretty yarn, fun accessories, and beautiful patterns all lined up for you this fall, and look forward to shipping them out to you!

My favorite thing today was getting my bulletin boards finished! Finally!
Our house is being painted and they got the body color up on the front and it looks AWESOME!

My favorite thing about today so far is going to “Let’s Dish” with my son to prepare meals for the next month. (It’s like Dream Dinners.) It’s always more fun to have him along to help.
My super-favorite thing about today has yet to happen. Tonight I get to go to Eucharistic Adoration and to Mass with the women’s group who founded the school where I work. There’s no such thing as too much Jesus! 🙂
Best part of today: I’m buying ice cream.

My favorite thing about my day today is that since it has been a very productive day, I treated myself to a pedicure!
My favorite thing so far today was lunch out with a dear friend.
I have three favorite things for today. The first is I got to see my grand kids after work. They always brighten my day. The second is my friend sent me yarn in the mail! And third I was greeted by my fur ball family when I got home. They love me unconditionally. It had nothing to do with the chicken I brought home for supper 🙂
Sadly, it’s been a rough day … even couple days. The best thing right now is that there’s tomorrow to look forward to, another day. 🙂

My favorite thing about my day so far was the power outage at work that lasted for about 45 minutes. Unfortunately it came back on so we didn’t get to go home for the day, but it was fun to just hang out with my co-workers chatting for the little bit of time because we couldn’t do any work.
My favorite thing about today is that I got to swim laps at the pool for 30 minutes, I got a lot of work done, and I got to spend time with my kids… all before dinner. 🙂

Best thing about today was floating in inner tubes down the Shenandoah River with my two girls and my husband. Best way to spend a hot August day! 🙂

My favorite thing today is that I’m about 3 rows to being done with Camp Loopy Project 3. A sweater in a month was a new one for me and I am going to make it.
Sharing today with my beloved daughter is the best part of today ~ and every day since last Friday when she came home and until this Saturday, when she flies to Amman, Jordan for four months.
Tears come to my eyes just writing about it. I’m going to miss her terribly, more so as I am so afraid of all the terrible violence the poor Middle East is enduring. Pray for peace, please.
My boss played golf this afternoon and I got to knit at work! YAY
Company provided pancakes, bacon and mimosas were pretty nice this morning, but the best thing of all was when my hubby came and met me for lunch at work. I could do this every day!
My favorite thing about today so far is coming in a few minutes. After working all day (beginning at 3:30 a.m.!), I am finally ready to sit back and work on knitting projects. I am rushing to finish a Gift Wrap Cardigan for our soon-to-be-born grandson #2, and a Wallaby pullover for his 2 year old brother. There’s nothing like adorable little buddies and fun, cute projects to keep me on task!
The best part of today is I finished a lovely cowl made with Fable Fibers Biography which I bought recently at The Loopy Ewe. I love that yarn!
Being back home after a trip and getting to sit at my desk in my bathrobe drinking coffee and catching up with email. Aahhhh!

It’s the first day of school for my kids!!
My favorite thing today was I made a mistake in my scheduling and I thought I had to attend a workshop. Actually it is scheduled for September 27th.. Therefore I had a few free hours to spend knitting. And it was raining so no yard work to feel quilty about.
My favorite thing about my day so far today is stopping by my favorite local café/bakery for lunch. Everything they bake, I just want to order one of each.
My favorite thing today was probably unboxing all the new books I ordered (and giving the ones not for me to their recipients and making them happy).
My favorite thing about today…. Humm I have several. My son had a good third day in pre-k, we are just about ready for the movers to come tomorrow, aaaand this morning I ordered a SQ of the loopy celebrations yarn in Jack is back. I’ve got a pattern all picked out and everything, woo!!

My favorite thing about my day so far today is that I’m 35% done with digitizing my husband’s family slides – only 1100 more to go. I need to finish this because it is seriously cutting into my knitting time!
