It’s the first Monday of the month, and you know what that means? We have special July kits and notions for you! (And other things, too.) Just up:
July Needle Minder of the Month – Folkart Uncle Sam. Could he be any cuter? Attach to your project bag or magnetic board, and let him watch over your darning needles, stitch markers, and scissors.

July Scissor of the Month – Red Susan. Just 2.5″ long, this cute red pair of scissors is great for tucking into your project bag.

July Knit Kit of the Month – Garner Cowl. We have three different color options for this kit (which includes the pattern), and we can’t pick a favorite! One, Two, Three. (We just updated our Shepherd’s Wool stock, so it’s easy to pick different colors. Or you can pick two colors of any worsted weight yarn. Try Uncommon Thread Lush Worsted, Malabrigo Rios, Cascade 220, etc.) You can also buy just the pattern.
July Sewing Kit of the Month – Water Bottle Kozie. It’s that time of year – when we’re all walking around with water bottles, because it’s so hot outside! These Kozies are so quick to whip up and great to keep your bottle insulated, and from sweating water on your hands.

Stonehedge Fiber Mill’s Shepherd’s Wool – This non-superwash wool is great for showing stitch definition in whatever pattern you’re using it for. Worsted weight, 100% Wool, 250 yards per skein, hand wash.

Stonehedge Fiber Mill’s Crazy – We have another batch for you! The colors are unpredictable and crazy (thus the name). Leave us an order note of a color you’d like to see in your skein, and we’ll pick a beautiful one for you. We’ll also email you a copy of Loopy’s Crazy Cowl for free, with your purchase.

George Sichterman Woodwork – Yarn Caddies and Yarn Swifts have been re-stocked. We love George’s work, and we know you all do, too. He has decided to focus on Cherry, Oak, Walnut and Cedar, so any other woods that we have in stock now will be going away. Get them while you can!

Our last Yarn Update included: Cascade Aegean Tweed, Eco Alpaca, Alpaca Pure, plus new colors in Hampton, Superwash Sport, Heritage Sock and Silk, Ultra Pima Paints, and 220.
Camp Loopy: A reminder – your June Camp Loopy projects needed to be completely finished by last night (June 30) and your project photo needs to be uploaded to our website by the end of the day today (July 1). Starting day for your July Project: Today, Monday, July 1! I’m anxious to get working on mine, how about you??
Here’s a photo of my complete June project: Linea, knit out of Cascade Hampton. For my June project, I’m going to do a TGV with a strand of Lush Worsted and a strand of El Cielo held together. I think it’s going to be fun to knit!
