Remember how things get a little crazy in December, and you wish you could just sit down and knit something beautiful for a few minutes of calm? Remember the feeling in January when the holidays are over, the year is new, and you want to start a fun new project just for yourself? Remember the feeling in February when you wish winter would go away and you need something to cheer you up?
We have just the thing for you.
Introducing our new three month Warm Woolies Club! We have picked out three beautiful bases that we don’t currently carry in the shop, from one of our very favorite dyers. They will dye up an exclusive color for us for each kit, and we will be shipping it out to you to brighten your day. We’ll also include a list of pattern suggestions, as well as a fun little extra each month. (We’re even including our original Loopy Kisses in these three shipments. Everyone needs a little chocolate in the winter months.)
Signups opened today and will close next Friday evening, October 14th. Then we’ll pop off to prepare the yarn, chocolate, pattern ideas and extras, and you can sit tight and wait for your first kit to be ready the second week in December. We’ll send you a notice when it is in your cart, ready for payment each month $36 per month plus any applicable tax or shipping). You can choose to add things to the order, or you can choose to check out with just the kit. And then we’ll get it sent off.
Three beautiful bases, three exclusive colors, three day brighteners for you. We’d love to have you join us!
Click here to sign up. (Remember, by signing up you are committing to purchasing all three kits, one each in December, January and February.) We can’t wait to share these with you!
Sheri and The Loopy Ewe Crew
P.S. None of the yarns contain mohair or alpaca. For those of you who need that information!
Sheri, I would love to see a version of this version of Loopy on a sweatshirt or long sleeved tee shirts! Off to sign-up now.
I love that idea, Theresa!
That’s a wonderful idea!!!
Great idea! I’m in for a long-sleeved tee shirt.
That would be totally awesome!
how do I find out prices before I commit?
It’s in the signup link, but I’ll add it to the post, too. $36 per month (plus any applicable shipping).
Will you be shipping to Canada?
We’re always happy to ship to Canada!
Sounds exciting and can’t wait!!
Absolutely wonderful! Just what I need to look forward to–as usual, Sheri, you and the Elves know just what we need!
All signed up! I love these short term clubs! Ditto on the idea of a long sleeve t!!! Except maybe with sizes geared more towards women’s bodies- not too tight, not too loose, not too short. My Camp Loopy t from the safari year was made by Gildan and didn’t last very long. The sizing seemed geared towards men’s body shapes. The shirt seemed to discolor and fade very quickly. This isn’t anything on Loopy’s end. I think it’s the company? Just wanted you to know.
Oh- just thought of this. LL Bean makes some nice unshrinkable t’s in women’s sizes and they sell to businesses, Sheri. May want to check out. I would gladly pay a bit more for a nice t or sweatshirt or even a polo shirt with the Loopy Sheep embroidered on!!!! :).
They don’t make sizes for the plus size woman…..
Thank you for that P.S., for those of us with allergy issues!
And my own P.S.: I’d love a tote bag with that version of Loopy!
Could I purchase these as a gift and have them shipped to an address different from the billing address (my own)?
Definitely!
You mentioned a “few hours” of knitting. Are these projects going to be large gauge?
They are all 400+ yard skeins, so they will take more than a few hours to knit! I just said “a few minutes of knitting in December” because I frequently wish I had that in the craziness of the month!
Hi Sheri!
I saw 400+ yd skeins, so I assume it’s fingering weight or thinner yarns, which is great for me.
How does it work to add things to this cart before shipping? How long would the timeframe be? I like to minimize shipping so I can see myself wishing to group other things in with the kit.
Signed up and excited! My Best, Mary Beth
Hi Mary Beth! We add the kit to your cart, and then you can go in and add anything else you’d like to add to the cart as well. We ask that you put payment through within a week of it going into your cart, and as soon as we have payment info, we’ll ship it out.
Perfect!!
Thank you.
Had to sign up since warm wollies will be needed here that time of year and I loved all my pirate pack yarns from the last three month adventure so couldn’t pass this up.
Would love to have some idea of what one is knitting in each kit.
Hi Bobbi! We’ll send along a list of some suggestions, but then we’ll also have a thread going on our Loopy Groupie board on Ravelry for people to share what they are making with each month’s yarn.
Hi,
I have a question- are all the yarns fingering/sock weight?
Hi Yvonne – Two fingering weights and one DK weight.
Yeah signed up
Hi Sheri – received my first skein – LOVE it! How will you be sending pattern suggestions? Typically I see an email before the skein arrives but I didn’t get one this time (or, maybe I missed it).
Thanks – Happy Holidays!
Kim
Hi Kim! We put the pattern suggestions and links on the Spoiler Thread in our Ravelry Group, but you can also email us and we’d be happy to send that via email, too!
OK – will check there -thanks! Happy Holidays
I rec’d the December yarn and the goodies so wanted to thank you for them. I couldn’t find a list of suggested patterns so thought I would check and see if they were listed somewhere online where I could find them? Thank you for your help.
