It’s Friday, and I have another tried and true recipe for you. I have decided that I have so many peanut butter recipes pinned on my Pinterest account that I finally just gave in and started a peanut butter board. Apparently I like peanut butter in things.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
3 Tbl. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Cream together the peanut butter, butter, and both sugars. Beat in the milk, egg and vanilla until fluffy.
Combine the flour, baking powder and salt in a separate bowl and then add into the peanut butter mixture.
Roll into tablespoon-sized balls. Place 2″ apart on cookie sheets and press down with a fork.
Bake 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees. Enjoy!
This recipe got me to thinking about peanut butter and chocolate colored yarn, which resulted in a walk around The Loopy and a peanut buttered Loopy photo. We have a LOT of beautiful yarn here in the shop. I try not to take too many walk-abouts because I always come back to my office with an armful of yarn that I need to buy. SO.MUCH.BEAUTIFUL.YARN.HERE.

I would love a skein of Meadowcroft Dyeworks Rockshelter Sock in Guatemalanness. This is such a beautiful colorway and I have not tried this yarn before.
I’ve always been in love with Malabrigo’s glitter colorway – and I’ve never tried Rastita – if only I could reach thru the screen to squish it!

I just discovered the most beautiful shade – Tempest in Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock Lightweight. I just bought a cardigan in the same color, to match a necklace and earrings I have. Now I can make socks to match!!! It’s going on the wishlist.
It is super grey and dreary here, so how about something cheery and bright like Wollmeise Pure in Red Hot Chili or Sonne. Those cookies look amazing and I need to make them ASAP! Thanks for the recipe and the contest. 🙂

Hedgehog Fibres Sock Yarn in Sour Cherry
I’ve been wanting to try Wollmeise DK for a long time now and the Nautilus color would be perfect to make a sweater for my upcoming little one to wear.
I love peanut butter cookies and the Pashmina glazed pecan looks the most like smooth peanut butter and scrumptious enough to eat, but I promise I won’t if I receive it.
