JulieSpins, Cascade Aran, Goodnight Moon and More!

Happy Monday to you! Tonight we added in:

JulieSpins Lace – Big beautiful skeins with Julie’s talented color mixing! This laceweight is 100% superwash merino and comes 960 yards to the skein. You will love working with this yarn. Need some pattern suggestions? How about: Proud as a Peacock, Radiance Shawl, Citron Grand, April Showers Cowl, Nuvem, or Off for a Walk with Charlotte. Shown here in Butternut, Northeast Kingdom, and Teal Tapestry:

Cascade Superwash Aran – a new base for us. This yarn is a little heavier/bulkier than regular 220 and comes 150 yards to the skein. Great stitch definition and perfect for hat, scarves, sweaters, kids clothes, afghans and mittens. Pattern ideas? How about: Therapeutic Cowl, Weekend Harvest Hat, Men’s Ski Hat (I love the cables in there), Big Herringbone Cowl, and Baby Sophisticate. Shown here in 1950 Hunter Green, 1990 Pale Violet, and 809 Really Red:

FreeSpirit Fabric’s Rosey by Tanya Whelan – Pretty florals and prints in ivory, rose, mint and soft blue. This would be great for little girl clothes, aprons, baby quilts, pillowcases and throw pillows, in addition to really sweet quilts. (A sampling shown below.)

Cloud 9 Fabric’s Goodnight Moon – I love this fabric. Did you ever read this book to one of your kids, nieces, nephews, or neighbors? They’ve transferred all of those images and happy colors to this fabric line. Blues, greens, reds and yellows. All of the Cloud 9 fabrics are done on 100% organic cotton. (A sampling shown below.)

  1. I made my neice an embroidered/quilted pillow with the cow jumping over the moon picture from Goodnight Moon years ago. That fabric would have been perfect.
