Cascade Superwash Aran – a new base for us. This yarn is a little heavier/bulkier than regular 220 and comes 150 yards to the skein. Great stitch definition and perfect for hat, scarves, sweaters, kids clothes, afghans and mittens. Pattern ideas? FreeSpirit Fabric’s Rosey by Tanya Whelan – Pretty florals and prints in ivory, rose, mint and soft blue. This would be great for little girl clothes, aprons, baby quilts, pillowcases and throw pillows, in addition to really sweet quilts. (A sampling shown below.)
Cloud 9 Fabric’s Goodnight Moon – I love this fabric. Did you ever read this book to one of your kids, nieces, nephews, or neighbors?
