What is Wee Three Gnomes?
It’s a wee bit earlier than usual, but pre-order season for the December Mystery Gnome Knit-Along, Wee Three Gnomes, from Sarah Schira of Imagined Landscapes has arrived. Pre-orders for Yarn Sets, Goodie Sets and some very fun Extras are now open (July 14 – August 4, 2026).
This is The Loopy Ewe’s 5th year providing Yarn, Goodies and Gnome-y Extras for this amazing adventure. The knit along storyline this year centers around Sarah’s Wee Three Gnomes (we can’t wait to find out what happens!). Sarah will guide you on a fun gnome-knitting adventure. She provides fantastic clues at each step, creates excellent video tutorials, and sprinkles in a lot of fun imaginative fun each day. Every year Sarah manages to weave a new gnome story that incorporates the lore and excitement of her previous gnome alongs while at the same time creating something completely new. Each Gnome Along brings a compelling and imaginative gnome-story. You won’t want to miss out.
The Loopy Ewe and Little Squirrel Yarn worked with Sarah Schira this year to create Yarn Sets carefully selected for the Wee Three Gnomes knit along. TLE and LSY also created 3 alternate color sets that we think will also be fabulous! We are again offering a carefully curated and super fun-filled, Goodie Set this year. This consists of 12 thoughtfully selected packages in a cute package (this year we DO have a very cute project bag to put all the goodies in). There are some extra fun items in this year’s offerings.

Wee Three Gnomes Yarn Details
We have 4 color set options in 2 weights (choose from Fingering or DK) from Little Squirrel Yarn again this year. Each set has been hand dyed on LSY’s lovely Oak Sock or Walnut DK Base . The Oak Sock sets consist of three 20g skeins of fingering weight, with 87 yards per mini. Oak sock is 75% Fine Superwash Merino & 25% Recycled Nylon. The Walnut DK sets consist of three skeins 50g of DK weight yarn with 123 yards per mini. Walnut DK is 100% superwasn merino.

- Gnome by the Fireside: Red Panda, Spruced Up, and Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit

Wee Three Gnomes Goodie Set Details
In addition to Yarn Sets, we are offering a delight-filled Goodie Set again this year to pair with the Wee Three Gnomes Knit-Along. The Goodie Set contains 12 wrapped and numbered gifts for you! Included are a combination of notions, gnome-related items, and other fun things to treat yourself through this December’s gnome-ing. Many items will be gnome-themed. Some can become part of your gnome (or not – and none of them are required for the Mystery Gnome knit-along). The 12 items will come in a cute project bag. Sarah will instruct you to open these as the gnome along progresses through December (or open them all right away – just try not to spoil the surprise for others!).

Wee Three Gnomes Fun Extras
We’ve brought back the popular Gnome Finishing Set. We are also selling a few of the more popular items individually so you can buy them without getting the full set. We do also have Gnome bases. This year, they come as a set of 3, but may not be necessary if you opt to hang your gnomes as ornaments. If that is your jam, we have Gnome Beaded Ornament Hangers too!! You decide what you want to do! Details for this year’s knit-along can be found on the imagined landscapes website.
In a nutshell we have:
- Gnome Base Trio – for fingering weight – two 1″ and one 1.5″ or for dk weight – three 1.5″ bases to adorn your gnome with a commemorative base
- Beaded Ornament Holders – set of 3 fun hand-made & each unique ornament hangers
- Gnome Finishing Set (3-50g weighted glass bead bags, 100 g polyfil, 2 tapestry needles, a notebook in a fun Finish It! cotton bag.
- Weighted Glass Bead Bag (50g) for stabilizing your gnome if standing (one per quantity ordered)
- Gnome Stuffing (100g polyfil) so you don’t end up with more stuffing than you need!
Ordering Details
We are happy to have you order as many of each item as you like, but please check out with ONLY the 2026 Pre-order Gnome Yarn Sets/Goodie Sets/GnomeExtras in your order. We can’t mix pre-orders with other items. If you need to purchase other, non-gnome-related items, please place a separate order! Let us know if you need help.
2026 Wee Three Gnome items (Yarn Sets/Goodie Sets/Gnome Extras) will ship out by the end of the second week in November, with international shipping happening (hopefully) a bit earlier.
Pre-orders will be open through August 4, 2026 at midnight mountain time. Please order by then, as we get super sad when folks contact us after that asking if they can still get the these items!
If you inadvertently order before you have all your items together, we can combine them, but please send us an email or leave an order note to let us know to look for that. With so many orders coming through during this time period, we can easily miss it otherwise.
Wee Three Gnomes – Imagined Landscapes Details
Sarah Schira from Imagined Landscapes will be providing the Wee Three Gnomes pattern for purchase separately starting November 1. This year comes with 21 days of emails filled with stories, recipes and the brilliant imagination and creativity that Sarah brings. The pattern will be available for purchase through the Imagined Landscapes site, with the first email/clue arriving on December 1st, and your gnome complete by December 21st.
