To ensure your ingredients are ready to make for July, we’re announcing the July Challenge now! If you haven’t started June’s challenge yet, no worries! You still can get started and join in the fun. Camp Loopy is a virtual summer knit/crochet challenge that provides monthly challenges, a community with which to share each month’s experience and rewards for completing your missions through the summer.
The Great Loopy Make Off – July’s Challenge
July is Biscuit Month at The Great Loopy Make Off. We mean Biscuits in the British sense. What we call cookies in the United States. We would, of course, accept projects that relate to any sort of biscuits (scones, etc), as long as you have an explanation to tie it in to the theme. A quick search under patterns in Ravelry gave over 200 returns for the word ‘biscuit.’ Not all necessarily would work, but there are so many options! Peanut butter, chocolate chip, shortbread, oatmeal and more! Pick a project that relates to the theme biscuits/cookies based on yarn, color, designer, pattern name, or whatever creative connection you can make!
July Camp Week
We are offering a 15% discount on your yarn for The Great Loopy Make Off’s July project, when you purchase between June 10-17, 2025.
Please leave us an order note saying this is for The Great Loopy Make Off and telling us which specific yarn will be used for your project. The Great Loopy Make Off Key Requirements
To receive Camp Credit for your project, please make sure you check these boxes (also outlined in May in the JUNE Challenge BLOG Post):
- Yarn for the July project must be purchased from The Loopy Ewe June 10, 2025, or later.
- Project must use the yardage you are hoping to meet (check out the June Challenge Blog Post for details) HELD SINGLY (or x2, if held double).
- Project must not be started before July 1, 2025 and must be completed by July 31, 2025.
- A photo of the completed project must be emailed to us with all required details (yarn, yardage, pattern, explanation of your link to July’s Making Theme) by August 1, 2025. (support@theloopyewe.com)
