Let’s Roll the Credits for Camp Loopy Cinema Camp by completing one extra project that celebrates everyone involved with making this a successful yarn-y summer. We’ve had so much fun seeing everyone’s projects come in over the summer that we want to extend the fun! September’s challenge, should you choose to accept it, will be to express your gratitude to those who helped you this summer. It’s time to give them credit for their input!
What Does ‘Roll The Credits’ Mean?
It is time to honor all the people who made your Camp Loopy Experience possible! Did your partner encourage you along the way? Key Grip. Did someone on Ravelry help you come up with a connection to the month’s theme? Associate Producer or Casting Director. Did you get stuck and ask your local yarn shop for help with a technique? Editor. I hope you get the picture!
Pick a project that you will make for or that ties to someone who helped you with Camp Loopy this summer! Make socks for your spouse. Use a pattern someone else made that inspired you. Make something using a color or designer your helper normally use/love. The idea is to knit a project that makes you think of the person that helped during this summer’s Camp Loopy! There are no categories this month – it’s all just Roll the Credits. Be sure to actually thank the person that helped you too!
How to Roll The Credits
It’s super simple!
- Order yarn between now and August 22, 2023 and get a 10% discount on yarn purchase for your project.
- You MUST leave an order note or send a follow-up email to get this discount. We will not follow up with you to ask.
- Please note that you are welcome to use Loopy points/credit OR the discount. If we see that you’ve used Loopy points/credit, we will not add a discount on top of that. Sale yarns are not eligible for additional discounts. For free shipping in the U.S., please make sure your discount won’t take you below the $100 level for free shipping.
- You must have completed at least 1 project during Camp Loopy this summer to get the ‘reward’ (not the discount – for those of you doing August only and are unsure whether you will finish).
- Projects must be at least 400 yards held singly.
- Yarn for the project must be purchased from The Loopy Ewe August 15, 2023, or later.
- Projects must be started and completed between September 1 and September 30, 2023.
- A photo of the completed project must be emailed to us by October 1, 2023. (support@theloopyewe.com). The email must contain the yarn used, yardage, the pattern used, and a short reason you are grateful to the person you have in mind.

You get to enjoy an extension of Camp Loopy Fun! You also get a small reward for your completed project (to be sent with your first order in October) and 20 points added to your rewards program.

Remember to submit your finished camp projects for August before September 1. Once we have the final tally on who has completed Camp Loopy, we’ll get Little Squirrel Yarn our final numbers for the Exclusive Camp Skein. It should be ready by October 1, and will ship out to you with your next order.
