Hi Loopy Friends!
First a very big thank you for your response to our Retirement Sale and all of your kind messages, emails and phone calls. I so appreciate you and your well wishes on my retirement from the yarn business!
Now – onto what comes next:
Big News!
I am SO happy to finally be able to tell you that long time Loopy Elf Kristine and her husband Bob (above) have bought The Loopy Ewe, so Loopy lives on! Kristine is an amazing knitter with a passion for beautiful yarn – the perfect person to take over the reins here at Loopy.
Watch for a re-opening around May 1st (new stock already rolling in). They have a fun new rewards program for you, plans for retreats, and other exciting things coming along, which I know you will love. It makes me happy to know that the shop will soon be filled with yarn again, with Kristine at the helm!
A few more details:
You will find many of your favorite yarn lines back soon, as well as some cool new additions that Kristine is adding in.
To keep updated on things as they progress, be sure to follow Loopy on Instagram and Facebook, where Kristine will start posting in the next couple of weeks. And watch for her Loopy email newsletter closer to May 1st about the re-opening.
The online shop is empty for now, but we still have some things we’re selling in-store. The in-store shop will then close March 31 and re-open April 30 under the new ownership.
I will be here running ColoradoCrossStitcher in the back corner at Loopy at least through the end of the summer, before finding a new place to land with that business. Pop back and say hi when you come in!
Again, we could not be happier to see Loopy staying in Fort Collins and in the online community, knowing that he is in good hands for the years to come. We hope this is good news for you, too!
Sheri
Wow! Go Kristine!
Best news in weeks! You built such a terrific business that it is wonderful that it will continue. Congratulations, Kristine!
Soo happy to hear that it is staying open. Are you hiring?
Overjoyed! Thanks so much for all you’ve done, Sheri–and best wishes to Kristine and Bob!
So happy to hear this great news. Loopy Ewe has been my first stop when visiting Fort Collins. Love your yarn!
Dear Sheri,
I just wanted to wish you a happy retirement, and thank you for all the years of great service under your ownership of The Loopy Ewe.
I’m so happy that The Loopy Ewe will be staying open! Welcome to Kristine and Bob!
With warm regards,
Heidi
All I can say is Hoorah!
That’s wonderful! Also, thanks for the link to your Cross-stitch adventure. Cross-stitching is my first hand stitching love.
How awesome!! Look forward to seeing what you have to offer.
Congratulations Kristine, wishing you and Bob all the best for your new endeavor!
