Peepers, Needles, Knitting Directions

Remember Pablo the Serious Cat – a pattern I shared with you a couple of weeks ago? I made him out of Cascade 220. And I like him. But why did I follow the directions? Because I wasn’t thinking! They directions say to knit all of the pieces flat. After I was done and had to seam all of that up, I realized I should have knit them in the round. Have you ever done that? Followed directions and then realized there was an easier way? Next time I will pay more attention ahead of time.

On another note – do you always read the whole pattern through before starting to knit it? That’s another thing I don’t always do. Some day I’m going to regret that.

  1. Omgosh he’s soooo cute! I haven’t attempted any critters but that’s something I really want to add into my knitting! Not sure I’m good enough to know how to change patterns yet!
