If you ARE an Outlander fan, did you know that Diana Gabaldon (the author) was captured with Loopy one time? Note that Loopy has his own kilt. Thanks to the Loopy customer who took this and sent it to us!

So, do any of these Outlander inspired knits entice you? Pop over for some yarn and let us know what you’re making. I’d like to make Laoghaire’s Mischief to start with….

  1. Yes, I’m an Outlander fan, more the books than the show, although they don’t mention the knits in the books! I do love the knits…really love the two “Claire shawls” you’ve shown here, haven’t looked lately at Outlander patterns. There are several Outlander knitting groups on Facebook as well that share patterns created by members. One of these days I will make myself the shawl! Love Loopy and Diana!

  2. I’ve loved the Outlander books since they were first published.in the 1990’s. I’ve only seen some of the shows- I like the knits that have been inspired by the show.Laoghaire’s Mischief is just what my friend asked for so it’s going on my list.

  3. Thanks for spreading the word on Outlander patterns! Loopy is adorable in his kilt! Let me know what you think of the capelet!
