New Rios Plus Loopy’s 12 Days of Indie Christmas!

Happy October 1st! It is a sunny, cool day here, which is perfect for knitting (or sweater wearing!). The other good thing about today? We have lots of yarn up for you (new Rios colors) and a new club to sign up for.

Malabrigo Rios

We have the 10 new colors available, and they are gorgeous. I am trying to pick a favorite and I just can’t. They’re all great because that’s what Malabrigo does with their Rios line (and all of their other lines.)

Dream in Color Clubs

We have the September 2018 Sock-It Club color, and the October 2018 Pop Up Skein Club color for you today.

Hedgehog Fibres Fade Kits

Hedgehog has redone the original colors for the Find Your Fade shawl by DreaReneeKnits and we have them in a kit for you. A couple of these colors had been retired, but they redid them for these kits because of popular demand! We think this is a beautiful set for the fall season.

New Tape Measures

Who doesn’t need a cute new tape measure? We have cats, frogs, penguins and sock monkeys.

Cascade

We’ve re-stocked 220, 220 Superwash, 220 Superwash Aran, Heritage Sock Solids, Heritage Wave, Ultra Pima, and Superwash Sport.

Universal

We’ve re-stocked both Cotton Supreme and Bamboo Pop.

Loopy’s 12 Days of Indie Christmas – Signups Now Open!

We are celebrating the 12 Days of Christmas, Indie-style this year! The kits will ship in mid-November and will contain 12 different mini skeins (100+ yards per skein) from 12 different indie dyers. Approx. 1300 yards in all. Each skein will be caked and ready to knit, and in its own package. Four of the 12 packages in your kit will also contain a bonus notion for you. Buy the kit as a gift for yourself or a friend!

Open one package a day for 12 days, open them all at once, or save it until 12/25 (when the 12 Days of Christmas really starts) for something fun after the holidays are over. We are also including a card with pattern suggestions for using the skeins all together, in groups, or individually. Sign ups will be open until 10/12 (or until the spots are gone). We’ll send you an email in November when we’re ready to ship and ready for you to pay for your kit. (Please note – by signing up and taking a spot, you are committing to purchase the kit in mid-November.) Get in on the 12 Days of Indie Christmas fun!Β Click on this link to sign up.

Leave a comment to be entered.

  1. The minis look cool. What is the β€œt&s” after the price? And do they include free shipping given the price?

  2. Perfect fall temp? I’d say mid-to-low 60s… dipping down into the upper 40s at night..

Cool enough during the day for a light sweater… with sunny skies and autumn leaves…

… I’m desperately craving temperatures cool enough to wear wool!

  3. I’m always cold, from fall through early spring, and so I like temps around 70. Sunshine makes a huge difference, though, and any day with sunshine makes me happier than even a warm one without!

  4. I’m always cold, so I prefer the low 70’s. it’s cool enough to wear those great shawls I’ve added to my collection.

  5. My favorite fall temps are upper 60’s to low 70’s. (Actually those would be my favorite year round temps!)

  6. 67 with low humidity and a gentle but crispy breeze. That’s my perfect fall day! Oh must be crystal blue skies and sunshine too!

  7. Well, I like temperatures in the 50s, but I live in SoCal, Anaheim to be specific, where right now it’s 90Β° at 5:30 PM – ick.

  8. I like the upper 60’s and the beautiful colors of fall. Both of these books look interesting. I would love to see the patterns.

  9. In upstate New York, I love when the temperatures are in the 50s. Great temperature for fall walks in our area of the country.

  10. My favorite temperature for fall is high 60’s to low 70’s.
And I have made myself numerous sweaters if needed

    1. Sigh. Autocorrect strikes again and ruins everything. That should say β€œwhat is this Fall you speak of?”

  11. Mid 70’s is perfect for me. Warm enough for my grandson to play outside without a sweater and cool enough for me to knit while he plays.

  12. If I were to win, I’d choose New England Knits. My favorite fall temps are similar to yours, mid-sixties to mid-seventies.

Thank you for the contest! And for the new beauties in the shop!

  13. 64 degrees with an apple and some leaves to kick up! Perfect fall sweater weather. Sunshine is a must. Crisp air and a crisp apple with friends.

I am a New England grown girl so the New England Knits would be perfect for me. I also studied French and well Oh! La-la!

  14. My perfect fall temp is 85. I hear Chicago area will hit the 80’s tomorrow. Can’t wait. I’m freezing today.

  15. Perfect fall temperature? 50s until lunchtime for perfectly cool tandem bike rides then 60s for the afternoon for comfortable gardening!
