Happy Monday to you! This is the week. What about this week? It’s the week in the U.S. to purchase your Thanksgiving Weekend knitting supplies! New yarn, new patterns, and new inspiration for your post-turkey-dinner-hang-out-with-the-family-and-watch-a-movie creating time, which is 10 days away. Check out the new yarn and yarn bowls we have to inspire you today!
Western Sky Knits Aspen Silk 600 – Indie dyer Kim works her color magic in her Montana dye studio. These 600 yard skeins are perfect for larger shawls, sweaters, and cowl or hat and mitt sets. The silk not only adds a bit of sheen to the skein, but also a bit more strength to the finished project. Pattern ideas: Flax Light, Talisman Shawl, Puntilla, Imagine When, Frisson, Flare, Fantoosh, Halligarth, Hitofude, and Tegna.
Fresh from the Cauldron Schoodic Sock – Indie dyer Jen dyes these beautiful colors up in Florida for us. Schoodic Sock is 75% Superwash Merino and 25% Nylon and has 460 yards to the skein – a great sock yarn that is machine washable. Of course great for anything else you like to make with your fingering weight yarn, too. Cowls, scarves, mitts, hats, etc. Pattern ideas: Tilted Cowl, Thanks, My Kryptonite, Stormy Sky Shawl, Dalekanium, Eole, Aperture Shawl, Clark Socks, Dunaway, and Whiz Bang. (I am totally making Whiz Bang socks sometime.)
Loopy Yarn Bowls from Pawley Studios! Aren’t these awesome? Three different colors for you to choose from. (Yarn bowls ship separately so we can package them well. We regret that we are unable to ship them outside the U.S.)
Our last Yarn Update included: Our Christmas/Winter kits – Snow Birds and Winter Woolies, a new batch of Pompons, Dream in Color November Dream Club Set, Cascade Heritage Sock Solids, 220, 220 Superash, 220 Superwash Aran, Ultra Pima, Hampton, and Silk, and the new Knitter’s Pride Zing needles (more on order already!).
Have fun shopping through the new things, and we’ll get your orders shipped right out so you have them in time for your holiday knitting and crocheting!
