JulieSpins, Exclusive Blue Moon, Mini Skein Kits and More!

Lots of beautiful yarn up for you in today’s update! I know I say that every week, but it’s true. (Because we don’t order the yarn that isn’t very beautiful…) 🙂 This week, you’ll find:

JulieSpins Euro Sock – This smooth, round, tightly twisted 4-ply superwash is amazing to knit with. It shows off texture and patterns so well, and of course you can never go wrong with Julie’s beautiful colors. (Which are almost always one-of-a-kind. She likes to make new colors instead of repeating herself, and we’re all for that.) I’m sure you’ll find several in this batch which are must-haves.

Canon Hand Dyes Charles Merino Kits –
Well these are fun! Each set has six small skeins, with 133 yards per skein. Use them as a set, or mix them with one of the neutral solids for a pop of color in between the main color. You might consider these patterns: On the Spice Market, Torquata, Lamina Wrap, Inara Wrap, and Buccaneer (I’ve wanted to make that Buccaneer every time I see it. Finally added it to my favorites list on Ravelry.) We have 10 different kit options for you.

Canan Hand Dyes Charles Merino Solids –
The same fingering weight and base as the kits, but in solids that will show off the pops of color from the Small Sets.

Cascade Heritage Silk Peruvian Tones –
Do you have a sweater or shirt that feels good and looks vintage-y and well-loved, and is one of your favorite things to wear? That’s what this new yarn is all about. It’s a fingering weight that is 85% Superwash Merino and 15% Silk, and has a vintage-washed look about it. It feels great to knit and wear, and it looks like your favorite relaxing-day item when you wear it. Available in 10 colors.

Blue Moon Fiber Arts June Exclusive Colorway
– Hot off the truck today! (Not literally – it’s actually very nice out today here in Colorado, but the boxes DID just arrive today.) Called Colorado Columbine, this gorgeous combo of greens, purples, whites and yellows knits up beautifully. Lynn used Heavyweight to knit The Colourist. (The skeins are 350 yards and the pattern calls for 420. You can end a little shorter – like Lynn did – or buy a second skein and make it even longer and more fabulous!) As always, we have it in Socks that Rock Lightweight, Mediumweight and Heavyweight, and each skein comes with a notecard of the photo that inspired the color.

Our last Yarn Update included: Blue Moon Socks that Rock Heavyweight, The Uncommon Thread Everyday Singles, Posh Fingering, Lush Worsted and Merino DK, and Malabrigo Rios.

Pick out some beautiful new yarn for yourself, and we’ll get your Box of Loopy Fun right out to you.

Sheri and The Loopy Ewe Crew

P.S. If you mention reading our Monday blog in your order notes, we’ll include a little sample size of Wollmeise’s wool wash in your order!
