You know we love Joji Locatelli patterns here at The Loopy Ewe, because we recommend them to you often! We were excited to see that she has a Mystery KAL starting in May that sounds fun. What’s a Mystery KAL? It’s a knit-a-long where you don’t get to see a picture of the finished project until you’re done knitting it. You get a new section of the pattern each week (starting May 12, ending June 9) and part of the fun is watching the pattern evolve as you work on it. (The pattern is available on Ravelry – here is the link.)
This KAL calls for 5 skeins of fingering weight yarn. 1: Light, 2: Accent or Medium color, 3: Speckle or multi-color, 4: Dark color, 5: Accent or Medium color.
Sometimes it’s hard to pull five skeins together from your computer screen (although our Project Planner helps so very much). We’ve pulled together a lot of fun combos, as we’ve walked around Loopy, mixing and matching yarn. We had five sets available when we sent our email newsletter out last night, but realized this morning that we needed to add more, as you all have been buying them up. 🙂
Here are the sets that we have pulled together for you on our Project Planner pages. When you click on the picture, it takes you to that Planner Page. Then click on the “Shopping List” link to the right, then click “Add to Cart”. If you want to sub in a different skein, just delete and add to your cart. (If you don’t like one of the colors of the set, for example.)
Two of the sets we shared in the newsletter have sold out, but here are the other three.
And here are the new sets that we came up with today. (We also did a Facebook Live video on these sets today – thanks for joining us if you were able to!)
I can’t wait to see all of the beautiful, colorful wraps that come out of this fun Joji Locatelli KAL. I hope you can join in!
