Are you still enjoying (?) cold weather where you are? I actually do enjoy the cold weather, as long as I’m bundled up. Luckily, as a knitter, bundling up is easy! And we have just the yarn for quick winter projects. We just added in:
Spud and Chloe Sweater – I love this yarn. It’s a worsted weight, and it’s my go-to yarn for baby blankets. (It would be my go-to for solid colored sweaters, too, but I have trouble finishing sweaters….) The base is 55% Superwash Merino and 45% Organic Cotton, which is why it feels to nice and knits up so beautifully. We have it in 32 colors for you.
Spud and Chloe Outer – This bulky weight yarn knits up in a blink. It’s soft and squishy and wonderful for hats and cowls and scarves, or really warm sweaters. The base is 65% Superwash Merino and 35% Organic Cotton. We have it in 24 colors for you.
Blue Sky Fibers Bulky – A super bulky weight yarn that knits up even quicker! (I must be into quick knits today.) This base is 50% Alpaca and 50% Wool so it’s super warm and soft. Makes a great hat or cowl, as well as wrap-around scarves. You’ll find it here in 18 colors.
Cavallini Notebooks and Pencils – We’ve re-stocked all of these fun notebooks in all sizes. Keep one in each project bag for making notes. Keep one in your purse or backpack for day to day reminders. Give them as gifts. They’re all fun. We’ve also re-stocked the pencils they still had in stock. I’m thinking they might be discontinuing those, as the selection is smaller. They are awesome pencils and they come in a cute tin with a pencil sharpener.
Needles and Crochet Hooks – We’ve also re-stocked the Knitter’s Pride, Karbonz, and ChiaoGoo needles and Knitter’s Pride crochet hooks.
Our last Yarn Update included: Cascade (Ultra Pima Paints, Ultra Pima, Heritages Sock Solids, 220, 220 Superwash, 220 Superwash Aran, and Superwash Sport), Hinza Totes, and Daisy Girl Project Bags.
Thanks so much for shopping with us – we always appreciate you and love sending Boxes of Fun your way!

Well, in truth it hasn’t been cold! Winter in Wisconsin has been quite mild this month. The highs have been in the 40’s and the overnight lows around 30. Not complaining, but it is a little weird. Lots of fog and our snow is almost gone. It is still cold enough to wear my woolies though!
