I know I say this every week, but we really (REALLY) do have more gorgeous yarn up on the website for you today. I mean, you need some of this in your home and on your needles. We just added in:
The Uncommon Thread Lush Worsted – Lush is a great word for this yarn, which is 80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere and 10% Nylon and new to us at The Loopy Ewe. One skein makes a warm hat or pair of mittens. Multiple skeins will make shawls, sweaters and wraps. The hard part is picking the color. They are all stunning. Hand-dyed by Ce and shipped over to us from the UK.
The Uncommon Thread Everyday Singles – Another base that is new to us from Uncommon Thread, the Everyday Singles might become your new favorite. Done up in Ce’s beautiful dyeing, you’ll like this for many of your fingering weight patterns.
Knerd String Fingering – Did you get one of our Tenth Anniversary Kits? We shared Knerd String with you in that fun kit, and then added lots more colors to tempt you! We’ve re-stocked them all and added in the Staring at the Sea color (from our kit) as well.
Into the Whirled Resist Dyed Meridian Sock – Love love love. Both the yarn as well as the dyers behind the line! This new resist dyed method is so beautiful, with lots of color popping up all over the skein. And the base – 80% Merino wool, 10% Cashmere and 10% Nylon – is always one of my favorites. (Because why not add a little cashmere into everything you knit?) We have it in 24 colors for you.
Dream in Color’s Love is Love Kits – I know some of you missed out on the kits when we had them a few weeks ago. With this new batch we have the Mini Sets, The Love is Love White kit (which makes the All That We Share pattern, available on Ravelry), and the new Love is Love Black and White kit (which makes the Colors of Love pattern, available on Ravelry.) Link to the patterns is on our website.
Treking XXL – One of the original true workhorse sock yarns, Trekking is 75% Superwash Merino and 25% Nylon with 459 yards to the skein. The colors come and go, so if you see something you love, get it while you can!
Rosy Green Wool’s Cheeky Merino Joy – in three new limited edition colors – Cream, Jam and Tea. Cheeky Merino Wool is organic-certified by GOTS and is produced by a small spinning mill and dyer in England, with wool from Patagonia. This sport weight yarn is beautiful to work with and comes in a pretty palette of colors.
We also re-stocked our Soak lines, and have added in their brand new scent, Pineapple Grove.
Our last Yarn Update included: Our Blue Moon Fiber Arts September Exclusive color, JulieSpins MCN 430, Hedgehog Fibres Sock, Cascade Mondo (and we added red in this week), and Stonehedge Fiber Mill’s Shepherd Worsted.
It’s the beginning of the month, which means we have another Monthly Mixer Challenge for you! This month, in honor of Halloween, the challenge (for both knitters and sewists) is to make something “scary”. You can interpret that as a project that looks scary, or a project that scares you because it has things in it that you have never done before. We’ll let you define SCARY!
Have fun shopping through the new things, and we’ll get your orders right out!
