The Monday Update is ready for you, and we have another new yarn company to debut, as well as re-stocks of some favorites, notions and needles. Just up, you’ll find:
Rosy Green Wool Cheeky Merino Joy – We are so happy to have this beautiful line here at The Loopy Ewe. This yarn is 100% Organic and GOTS certified, which covers the entire process from sheep to yarn. You’ll love the incredible softness and beautiful colors. I picked up two skeins of this Cheeky Merino Joy and they are turning into a Brickless Shawl at the moment! Cheeky Joy is a sport weight yarn with 350 yards to the skein.
Rosy Green Wool Big Merino Hug – This base is an aran weight, also 100% Organic Merino Wool, GOTS certified. It comes with 175 yards to the skein and is great for warm hats, cowls, scarves, mitts and wraps.
Rosy Green Wool Manx Merino Fine – A fingering weight yarn (also 100% organic and GOTS certified) with 218 yards to the skein. This yarn is made from Manx Loaghtan, an endangered sheep breed that is originally from the Isle of Man. The Manx wool from the Fowlescombe Farm in Devon England is unique each year and is refined with organic Merino wool from Patagonia. Rosy Green Wool donates a portion of each skein sold to the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.
Rosy Green Wool Heb Merino Fine – A fingering weight yarn that is made from Hebridean, a formerly endangered sheep breed originally from Scotland and now surviving on the islands of the Hebrides. Also 100% organic and GOTS certified. Rosy Green Wool donates a portion of each skein sold to the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.
Juliespins SW Merino Lace – Gorgeous. That’s my one word description. This is 100% Superwash Merino and comes 960 yards to the skein in another batch of Julie’s amazing and unique colors. Wonderful for shawls and wraps, or make yourself a Nuvem or a Sandbank. Light around the shoulders, but ever so warm.
Shalimar Breathless Lace – For those of you who love Shalimar Breathless in any weight (me included), you will especially appreciate the single ply laceweight version. It’s 75% Superwash Merino, 15% Cashmere and 10% Silk with 850 yards to the skein. Soft and luscious to knit, wonderful and warm to wear.
New Accessory Notions – We have added in some of our most popular items from past Loopy Reward gifts. You can now add our Loopy Time Out Notes, Loopy Notions Organizer, and Loopy Magnifying Ruler to each project bag. We’ve also added in Nirvana Shawl Pins. When you gift a handknit shawl to someone, it’s always nice to include a pin with it.
Knitting Gadget Re-stocks – All of your favorites: Highlighter Tape, Conductive Thread, Stitch Holders, Digital Row Counters (which I now cannot live without), polka dot scissors, and more.
And lastly, ChiaoGoo and Knitter’s Pride Needle re-stocks.
Our last Yarn Update included: A New Company for us – Baa Ram Ewe in Dovestone DK and Titus, Into the Whirled Pakokku Handpainted, Madelinetosh Unicorn Tails, Madelinetosh Merino Light, Appalachian Baby Yarn and Kits, Universal Cotton Supreme and Bamboo Pop, and Loopy Cakes.
Our last Fabric Update included: Moda Volume II, Moda Bread N Butter, Loopy Short Stacks, Kits and Precuts.
Have fun shopping through the new things, and we’ll get your orders right out!

I have fallen in love with a scarf pattern in the spring/summer of Knit Simple. I’m told that if anyone can find Malabrigo’s new ‘Mora’ silk yarn that you can. Can you?
