Loopy’s Button Tote
We have been collecting fun buttons from different events (Camp Loopy, Loopy Academy, Loopy Rewards, etc) and have had nowhere to put them. So we ordered Loopy on a heavy duty, zippered canvas tote (so your colorful pins show up well), and we’re sharing out button collections that way! Of course you can also use the tote as-is, because Loopy always looks cute on things. But check out how fun it is to put the smaller 1″ buttons in place of his fleece curls.

Plus ChiaoGoo, Knitter’s Pride, and Knitting Notions re-stocks.

We’ve also added more yarn to our Last Call Yarn section. Both Biscotte & Cie and Colinette have stopped wholesaling their yarn, so we won’t be carrying them any longer. I also added Shibui Pebble and Cima to Last Call, as well as Rowan Fine Lace and Swans Island. We’re saying goodbye to some of these yarns because we have several new lines that are coming in over the next few months, some are indie-dyed lines and some are bigger yarn company lines. We’re so excited about them and can’t wait to share them with you as they arrive!

Our last Yarn Update included: Bungalow 360 Bags, HiyaHiya Crochet Hooks, Malabrigo Nube, Malabrigo Rasta, Malabrigo Rios, Spud and Chloe Outer, Fine and Sweater, Stonehedge Fiber Mill, and HiyaHiya needle re-stocks.

Our last Fabric Update included: Birch’s Charley Harper Maritime collection, plus Loopy Short Stacks, Kits and Precuts.

Loopy Monthly Mixer ImageMarch Monthly Mixer – It’s time for another Monthly Mixer Challenge! This month, we’re celebrating March and Mars and challenging you to knit, crochet or sew with the letter M in mind. Pick a color or collection that begins with M, or pick a pattern that begins with M, or make something that begins with M. (I’m going to make another Match and Move our of two colors of Wollmeise. I get credit for Double M’s there!) Share your ideas below or on our Monthly Mixer page on Ravelry!

  1. Well, I’m in the midst of making a Match & Move (is that enough m’s?) with Wollmeise Pure Paul and Sanguinella. If I’m lucky, I might get it done by the end of March. That’s as much as I can hope for. I’m excited to be using two skeins of Loopy Ewe purchased WM for a great project. Picking the two colors is the most fun. The increasing half of the shawl uses 1 pattern row in both directions. How easy is that? So that’s what I’ll be doing.

  2. Really sad to see the Biscotte & Cie go! I love the fun colors and the stripes. I will snag some of that before its gone.
