Madelinetosh, Fibernymph, New Notions and More!

I hope you had a great weekend! It was hot here in Fort Collins, but today is in the 60’s and raining – perfect project weather. How is your Camp Project Two coming along? Mine needs some work and time!

We have a lot of things up on the website for you in today’s update. You’ll find:

Madelinetosh Merino Light – This super soft single-ply fingering weight yarn is 100% Superwash Merino wool. It has been popular for scarves, cowls, shawls, sweaters and more, and we currently have it in stock in 120 colors. Shown below in Flycatcher Blue and Prairie Fire.

Madelinetosh Unicorn Tails – The Unicorns are back in the shop! These mini skeins of Tosh Merino Light come with 52 yards per skein in 30 different colors. They are fun to use in colorwork patterns, as well as multi-color projects like scarves and hats. Buy them by the skein or get The Whole Stable (one of each of the 30 colors.) Shown below in Flash Dance and Jade.

Fibernymph Dye Works Bounce – This fingering weight yarn is dyed up into beautiful colors by Lisa in Pennsylvania. You’ll love the way the colors mix! It’s 80% Superwash Merino and 20% Nylon, making it great for socks, but also for shawls, cowls, scarves, hats and sweaters. Shown below in North Sea and Silver Lining.

Malabrigo Re-stocks – We have a big Malabrigo order in, and we’re getting it in smaller shipments (as they have the colors/bases available that we have on order.) Today we have added in some of the Sock colors and Nube roving colors. We’ll continue to add re-stocks as they arrive, as well as getting a new base from them soon. Shown below in Nube Solis and Sock Lettuce.

Universal Yarn Cotton Supreme – The softest cotton out there. (Well, at least it’s my favorite soft cotton!) This Worsted Weight yarn is 100% Cotton and works well for summer sweaters, tanks, hats, mitts and kids clothes. This yarn comes in 45 colors, so we have a lot of solids for you to choose from. Shown below in Super Pink and Dusk.

Universal Yarn Bamboo Pop – A sport weight yarn in a comfortable blend of 50% Bamboo and 50% Cotton. You’ll like using this for summer sweaters and vests, as well as easy care kids clothes and blankets. This yarn is also a great choice for those who are allergic to wool. We carry this in over 30 colors, both solids and multis. Shown below in Sunsetter and Rose.

1818 Farms Soap and More – Since our TwentySeven Soap gal ended her soap-making business, we’ve been looking for a good soap line alternative. We’re happy to have 1818 Farms! All of their products are made with natural ingredients and we have their great-smelling soaps, Cuticle Balm, and Counting Sheep Linen and Room Spray. If you’re local to us, we’re also carrying their amazing Shea Cremes in the shop. Due to no preservatives, we can’t ship these cremes in warm weather (they’ll melt!), but do come try them out in person. The soaps, balm and sprays, we’re happy to ship.

Cavallini Papers Notebooks – I have been looking for a good notebook/journal company to add to the shop for a long time. I always keep a notebook in each project bag for making knitting notes (when I change things in the pattern I’m using, or when I come across other ideas that I might want to add in, or when I have a brainstorm about something, etc). These are great for all of those things, and we hope you have as much fun with them as we have had!

Cavallini Papers Pencil Sets – Of course we had to have these cute pencils to go with the cute notebooks! Pencils are great for making project notes or charting graphs (and then erasing, when you change your mind. Or is that just me?) Each tin comes with 10 pencils and a wooden pencil sharpener. When you’ve used up the pencils, the tin is great for storing your knitting notions in your project bag.
