We have another big Yarn Update for you today. We just added in:
Shalimar Breathless – This luscious fingering weight yarn is 75% Superwash Merino, 15% Cashmere and 10% Silk with 420 yards to the skein. It is wonderful to knit with, and extra special to give (knit up or in the skein) as a gift. Pattern Ideas: Cameo, Lila Blue, and Pendulum. Shown below in Columbine and Fairy Dust.
Manos del Uruguay Alegria – The best thing about this fingering weight yarn? The fun colors! The yarn base is 75% Superwash Merino and 25% Polyamid (nylon), making it great for socks, but also fun for shawls like Hitchhiker, where the brilliant colors get to swirl around. Or try: Brickless, Favorite Scarf Ever, or Simple Skyp Socks. Shown below in Aguayo and Agave.
Schoppel Wolle Zauberball – We’ve re-stocked the Sock (75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon, 459 yards) and the 100 (100% Superwash Merino, 437 yards ) in these pretty balls that provide long color changes as you knit with them. Pattern Ideas: TGV, New Edge, and Colourwaves. Shown below in 2179 and 1536.
Blue Sky Re-stocks – We’ve re-stocked Skinny Cotton (DK), Worsted Cotton (Worsted), Metalico (Sport), and Worsted Hand Dyes (Worsted), just in time for your summer sweaters. Shown below in Shell and Drift.
Trekking XXL – Still one of the hardiest sock yarns around. If you’re knitting for people who like to toss their handknits in the washer and dryer, this is a very easy-care yarn. Shown below in 567 and 526.
Tumbleweed Yarn Re-stocks – Our Soririty Girl and Sugar Skull colorways sold out quickly in both the regular skeins and the skeins with minis. We have more in stock for you, as well as a couple more new colors! This self-striping fingering weight yarn is fun to knit. (See my Sugar Skull socks here.) The regular skeins have 400 yards and the kits with mini skeins have 400 yards plus approx. 100 yards in the mini, which is fun to use for toes, heels and cuffs or edgings on a shawl or hat brim. Shown below in Sugar Skull with Mini and Mexican Tile with Mini.
Cascade 220 – You know, when we add in a line from Cascade, we add in ALL the colors. So our 220 wall currently has 235+ colors of this worsted weight yarn to choose from. And here’s a little tip – if you see a color that has an X after the color name, it means that color has been discontinued by Cascade, so this is your last opportunity to get it. What we have in stock will be the last of it here! Pattern ideas: Norwegian Star Earflap Hat, French Market Bag, and Central Park Hoodie. Shown below in Charcoal and Cranberry.
Cascade Heritage Sock Solids and Heritage Silk – Fingering weight yarn in pretty solid colors. The Heritage Sock is 75% Superwash Merino and 25% nylon, while the Heritage Silk is 85% Superwash Merino and 15% Silk (which adds the slightest bit of sheen to the yarn). Each comes with 437 yards to the skein. Shown below in China Blue and Purple Hyacinth.
Cascade 220 Superwash – Carrying all of the 220 Superwash colors means we have 130+ for you to choose from! This worsted weight yarn is machine wash/dry, so it’s ideal for knits that will need easy care (like kids clothes, blankets and afghans, and sweaters that you want to pop in the washer.) Pattern Ideas: Pine Forest Baby Blanket, Claudia, and Moderne Log Cabin Blanket. Shown below in Ruby and Green Apple.
Cascade Superwash Sport – If you like Cascade Superwash but want a lighter option for the summer, then Sport might be just the ticket. We have all 40 colors for you in this skein that comes with 136 yards. Also machine wash and dry. Pattern ideas: Vodka Lemonade, Baby Tea Leaves, and 3 in 1. Shown below in Dark Aqua and Pink Ice.
We also re-stocked: Miyuki Beads, Wooden Sock Blockers, Beadle Needles, and ChiaoGoo Needles.
Have fun checking out the new things and we’ll get your orders shipped right out!
