Our Monday Yarn Update is ready for you and this week we added in beautiful yarn and plenty of cool project bags. Just up:
Fiberstory Core DK – Sarah has sent us more of her beautiful yarn! Core DK is a DK weight yarn that is 100% Superwash Merino with beautiful stitch definition. Pattern ideas: The Age of Brass and Steam (I did one with this – I love it), Rikke Hat, Groovy, Welted Fingerless Gloves, and Messalina. Shown below in Milo and Jammies.
Fiberstory Fave – And while we were at it, we had her send us more Fave as well. Fave is 100% Superwash Merino with a tight twist and 400 yards to the skein. We are happy to send you a free copy of Sarah’s Sweetly Cowl pattern with purchase if you mention it in your order notes. (Everyone loves that pattern. There have been times when we’ve had three or four different people working on them at Knit Night!) Pattern ideas: Sweetly Cowl, Pogona, Light and Up, Appia, and Father Time Cowl. Shown below in Koi Pond and Daybreak.
Fibernymph Dye Works Self-Striping – Lisa has been busy dyeing up her popular self-striping skeins for us over the past months. These skeins are 80% Superwash Merino and 20% Nylon with 400 yards in the skein. Fun for socks, gloves, hats and more. Pattern ideas: Favorite Scarf Ever, Primavera Socks, Shetland Ruffles, and Charybdis. Shown below in Highlighters and Carnivale.
Atenti Overnight Bags – Do you have one of this bags? If not, you need one. (Or three. Ask me how I know.) These bags are great for large projects, small projects, carry-ons, and summer traveling. My favorite way to use it is to stash several smaller project bags inside. If you only work on one project at a time, you won’t need it for that. Somehow, I always have multiple projects going on. Shown below in Roses in the Night and Paraiso.
Atenti Tall Caddy Bags – This is a new style for us and I tested it ahead of time to make sure it worked. 🙂 Each bag opens wide to get to your projects and tools, with plenty of inside pockets for organizing. Then the long handle tucks through the little side loop to close the top for carrying. Great design, beautiful fabrics. Shown below in Santa Rita, inside and out.
The Calico Bush Project Bags – Holly in Wyoming sews these colorful project bags for us, after I pick out the fabric. (And yes, that does mean that I use a lot of these different bags for my own projects. It really is my favorite style for small project bags, because I like how quick and easy it is to cinch it closed and then carry it off. Maybe that’s why I need to keep so many projects-in-progress. Too many cute bags to keep filled….) Shown below in Summer Splash and Red Polka Dot.
We also added in some back-ordered colors of Malabrigo Rasta, Lace, and Nube Roving. We received more Dream in Color Jilly Lace kits in the Cool Bundle, which many of you have asked for. And we have a new Loopy Cakes Set called Great Scot! Shown below in Nube Aquas and Rasta Abril. And check out our new booklet by Knitbot called Stashbot: A Comprehensive Guile to Building a Useful Stash. Handy.
Have fun picking out some new things for your next few projects, and we’ll get these packed up and shipped right out for you.
