The Monday Yarn Update is ready for you, and it’s a big one! Today we added in:
Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock Heavyweight – I love these big skeins of worsted weight yarn. You get 350 yards per skein of this 100% Superwash Merino, making it great for sweaters, hats, cowls, mitts and scarves. Shown here in Ooh LaLagoon and Broody Bantams.
Madelinetosh Sock – Lots of color choices in this fingering weight yarn that comes 395 yards per skein. This base knits up beautifully for shawls and lightweight sweaters, as well as cowls and drapey scarves. Shown here in Mica and Norwood Spruce.
Malabrigo Sock – A fingering weight yarn that comes 440 yards to the skein in Malabrigo’s always-gorgeous colors! The nice twist makes it great for socks, but you’ll also like it for hats, mittens, gloves, cowls and shawls. Shown here in Pocion and Zarzamora.
Malabrigo Lace – A single ply lace weight yarn with 470 yards to the skein and a great price. Beautiful for soft, lightweight, warm shawls and wraps. Shown here in Loro Barranquero and Sealing Wax.
Malabrigo Silky Merino – A DK weight yarn with 150 yards in the skein, this one is always popular for shawls, scarves, and wraps. Shown here in Candombe and Lavanda.
Malabrigo Worsted – A single ply worsted weight yarn with 210 yards in the skein. Warm and toasty for sweaters, vests, scarves, hats and mittens. Shown here in Cactus Flower and Applewood.
Malabrigo Nube Roving – Ready to spin your own yarn? Check out the beautiful colors of Nube roving that just arrived! Shown here in Persia and Archangel.
Manos del Uruguay Serena – This is one of those yarns that you want to sink your hands into. (And one of the yarns that I wish I could hand right out to you from the computer.) Soft and luscious, the sport weight base is 60% Baby Alpaca and 40% Pima Cotton. Use it for sweaters, scarves, hats and shawls. Shown here in Harbor and Fig.
Manos del Uruguay Alegria – Always such fun colors in this line! This fingering weight base is 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon, making it great for long-wearing socks. You’ll also like using it for hats, scarves and cowls. Shown here in Candombe and Bataclana.
Dream in Color Smooshy – A fingering weight yarn with 450 yards in the skein, this really is “smooshy” to knit with. The nice twist makes the stitches in your pattern pop. Try it for gorgeous shawls, sweaters, cowls, wraps and hats. Shown here in Emerald Darkness and Deep Seaflower.
Fibernymph Inversibles – We have a small batch of Inversibles for you! We begged Lisa to do a batch before the holidays (because you begged us to get more before the holidays) and she did as much as she could for us. We’ll have more sometime in the winter. These are labor-intensive (as you might imagine – both self-striping plus smaller skeins), so we’ll get it as often as Lisa is able to do some for us. Shown here in Turquoise/Purple and Black/Scarlet.
Malabrigo Book 6 – 17 new patterns by designers Joji Locatelli, Stephen West, Ysolda Teague, Veera Valimaki, and more. You’ll find shawls, cowls, socks, cardigans, and a pullover.
Knitifacts Stitchmarkers – These are the stitchmarkers that I use all the time. Pretty colors, no snagging, no dangling – just a way to keep your patterns and stitches in line. After this batch, Laura is taking a bit of a break to let her hands have a rest (all that small work is hard on hands). We hope to have more in the spring. Shown here in Red Queen and Multi.
2015 Romney Ridge Calendars – if you’re a Loopy Groupie, you get a copy of this special calendar free in your first December order from us. But many of you also buy them for friends, so we also have extra copies for sale for you.
Have fun shopping through the new things, and we’ll get your Boxes of Fun shipped right out!
Sheri and The Loopy Ewe Crew
