Happy March 1st!

Lucky LoopyLoopy is well dressed and ready for March! (Elf Roberta designs all of Loopy’s holiday costumes and has a lot of fun with it. This month, she crocheted his leprechaun outfit to celebrate National Crochet Month.) I especially like his orange, very Irish-looking beard this month. You can catch Loopy and his outfits in the top corner of the webcam. He gets a new outfit every time there’s something new to celebrate.

In honor of March (and green leprechauns, and green grass and green trees coming soon), I let Mischievous Loopy play in some green yarn this morning. (You might remember Mischievous Loopy from another post. He’s always getting into something. Don’t confuse him with Webcam Loopy. Webcam Loopy is as sweet as can be, which is why he gets to wear the costumes.)

He had a fun morning. Now I have to figure out how to train him to put all that yarn back. He hightailed it into the kitchen for M&M’s, once the photography session was over. (I’m pretty sure Webcam Loopy would have stayed around to help. He’s much nicer that way.)

  1. Gotta love the Loopies that hang out at the shop! That little one who chose to play in the green, well he is a little like a leprechaun and those little faries do partake in mischief! And, he did not get a new sweater so who can blame him for a little bit of fun!

  2. I love reading about the adventures of mischievous Loopy! I seriously think you should consider writing a children’s book about him πŸ™‚ Reading these adventures makes me want to adopt another Loopy…my horsedog (AKA, Sophie, the black lab) played too rougly with him and he’s missing a few parts πŸ™ I was so sad. But my then 15 year old son “doctored” him up with a new outfit (an old sock cut to fit Loopy) and said “Here Mom, I fixed Loopy as best I could” My heart about burst! Needless to say, he’s a very special Loopy to me. πŸ™‚

  3. I loved my last skein of the Juliespins Silky 435, so I am trying so hard not to drool on my keyboard. That is a glorious color and I can practically see the shine behind Misc. Loopy.
