Cascade 220 Superwash, New Hue Handspun, and More

We’ve been busy in the photo studio this week, as there was a lot to put up for you to tonight! We’ve just added in:

Cascade 220 Superwash – We’ve had so many of you looking for this yarn, since it’s a great one to use for things that you’d like to wash and dry (like sweaters, vests, socks, and kids and baby items). This line comes in 141 colors, and of course we needed to stock them all for you. There are a handful on backorder, but the rest are in stock and ready to ship. I’ll have to photo the Cascade wall for you now that it contains all of the colors of regular 220 and all of the colors of 220 Superwash. It goes on and on forever and it’s beautiful and colorful! (Shown here in Persimmon, Midnight Heather, Heather and Spring Night).

Malabrigo Lace – Re-stocks and some new colors for us. At 470 yards for $9.50, this is a great deal for shawl making. Of course the colors are wonderful, too!

New Hue Handspuns – Have you ever heard people talk about how amazing it is to knit with handspun? And you thought you’d never get to experiece it because you don’t spin? We’re pleased to introduce hand-dyed, handspun laceweight by Cheryl Newhouse in Oregon. This luxury laceweight comes 400 yards to the skein in a merino/bamboo base, and you’ll want to use it for very special shawls and scarves. Truly a treat. (Shown here in Sea Squall).

Lorna’s Laces Sportmate – The fingering weight version (Solemate) was so popular, that the Lorna’s Laces team added a sportweight version to their offerings. Our colors will come in groups as they dye up that colorway. Tonight we added Calumet, Giddings, Roadside Gerry, Rockwell and Turtle Rodeo to the 9 we already had in stock. What’s special about this yarn base? It contains 30% Outlast® which is a fiber technology that interacts with your body temperature to help moderate it. If you’re cold, it will warm you up. If you’re hot, it will cool you down. Great for socks, mittens, scarves, hats, and shawls.

Tempted Prissy Grrl Sock – A luxurious fingering weight yarn from Stacey in Oklahoma. The yarn base for Prissy Grrl is 70% Baby Alpaca, 20% Silk and 10% Cashmere. Use this for really special socks, or equally wonderful shawls, cowls and scarves. (Shown here in Frigid).

TwentySeven Soap – More yummy scents from Keri, handmade here in Fort Collins, CO. Keri uses goat milk, olive oil, and coconut oil in her soaps and these have been very popular in the shop. Tonight’s new scents are Blackberry, Bergamot Tea Tree, Cherry Almond, and Sugar Lily, which join the other 16 scents we currently have in stock.

Namaste – we’re re-stocked our bags and accessories and added in the new Espresso colored Hermosa bag as well.

Enjoy checking out the new things and I hope you find a few that need to come home with you. 🙂 We’ll be in to pack them up and ship them off to you, first thing in the morning.
