Camp Loopy “Map” Sale

When you go hiking in the mountains, you need a map, right? One or two steps down the wrong path and you might find yourself in a place you didn’t expect. The same goes with knitting. We use maps (ok, during non-camping times we call them patterns) to insure that we are executing the right stitches on each row. One or two stitches in the wrong direction, and we end up with a project that we don’t recognize. Thank goodness for maps/patterns that lead the way!

This week for a Camp Loopy celebration, we have put all of our single copy patterns up for sale at 20% off. (Pattern books and booklets not included.) There is no limit to the number of patterns you can get, so it would be a good time to stock up. The sale ends Friday night at midnight, Central Time.

Many of you have also already found the new section that we added to the website called, “Last Call“. These are yarn lines that we don’t anticipate getting again soon (if ever) and you can find some very good deals in there. Take a peek and see if there is anything calling your name!

Thanks to all of you who have emailed or messaged me on Ravelry and Facebook to make sure we survived the long 14 hour drive to Colorado. We did! And the cats did so much better than I had anticipated. After the first two hours of complaining, they settled down and slept much of the rest of the day. We have spent the week unpacking, with plenty more to go. But the important things are done. We have beds to sleep in and, even more importantly, the coffee maker is set up and has already been used every morning. 🙂 Want to come join me for a cup? (But beware – I might make you unpack a box, first. The main floor is getting there, but OH, the basement….)

  1. I’m so happy for you ( and a bit jealous! ). My son left StL 6 am Friday and 12 hours later was in Boulder, of course, he didn’t have cats with him! When is the Loopy Ewe moving to CO?

  2. So glad that you made it safe and sound to Colorado! Moving isn’t any fun but it is a necessary evil! Take care, don’t let loopy out without a map and flashlight, he might get lost! 🙂

  3. So glad you and the kitties survived! The idea of moving strikes terror in my heart. Lived here 22yrs. …much stuff accumulated! Scary!

  4. I’m impressed that your kitchen looks so organized after having just moved in. Happy that you and the kitties and WH made it safely. Miss your blog posts though! 🙂

  5. Happy Housewarming to you! Hmmm. New kitchens need: a kitchen witch (so the gravy doesn’t go lumpy and the biccies burn) and of course, hand-knitted kitchen gear, like oven mitts. I had a friend who crochet gorgeous kitchen towels in cotton!

  6. I see your coffee maker is a Keurig. I have one too and love it. I also noticed you have 2 ovens…I only have one! 😉 Glad you made it safe and sound.

  7. Glad you made it safe and sound and that the kitties did so well on the trip. I’m impressed that your kitchen is organized so nicely already. Nice that you have beds to sleep in too . More important though is your yarn stash unpacked yet?

  8. Glad you made it safely! Good luck on the rest of the unpacking. How do the kitties like their new home?

  9. Glad the move went well. Never heard of the “last call” before. What fun! I also cleaned out my wishlist of most of the patterns in it.

  10. Your kitchen looks great Sheri. I always find that getting the kitchen all set up first thing is the key to sanity during a move. I hope you are enjoying the excitement of the new home and new location!

I would LOVE to come join you for a cup of coffee. I would even unpack two boxes! Wish I were close and could do so.

  11. Glad to hear that you all made it there safely! Hope all goes well as you get settled in to your new house and neighborhood!

  12. Sheri, So happy you made it to CO safety! Have been thinking about you all week. Wait until you get to that last box…… You are going to be doing a happy dance. I know I just did it.

  13. Glad you made it safely, and that the cats only complained for a couple of hours. Mine complained for the entire 12 hour trip from Nebraska to Texas. Wish you were closer, I’d be happy to stop by and unpack a box or two!

  14. I’m glad you are safely there, but I’m already missing the Loopy Ewe in St. Louis. Got to get over there soon! Love the kitchen photo, it looks like a beautiful happy corner. Got baskets and coffee, those things make ME happy.

  15. Adding my voice to the “glad you’re safely in Colorado” folks. I grew up in St. Louis, lived in the East, and am now a high desert Santa Fe person forever. You will never be able to stand the humidity again!! Best wishes.

  16. Woo hoo! Glad you’re safe and sound in your new nest. How are the kitties doing? They are so territorial, they’ve got to be rather freaked out and hiding. Mine shed like crazy when they’re stressed–I swear I could have built a new cat with what Elsie shed alone!

Your kitchen looks adorable! I can see one of the reasons you chose the house…that’s a tall person kitchen if I ever saw one. 🙂

  17. So, so glad the trip went well! I’m sure you (and the kitties) are exhausted – you deserve a nice calm and happy week now! Enjoy nesting in your new home!

  18. Yay! Glad you made it. Your kitchen looks great! And wow you have unpacked fast! I’d never have my kitchen looking that good that soon after moving in. Ok, probably never ever, I have to admit. LOL

  19. Very best wishes to you on a successful but tiring move. Oh my, too many of those done by me to take that for granted. Welcome to the new home.

  20. Glad you had a safe trip….I love the little coffee “station” you have set up in the kitchen….looks great….Hope the new home is filled with great new memories for all of you…

  21. So glad you made it there safely! Keep at those boxes, and you’ll be all sorted before you know it.

  22. I’m glad that you are doing well and are getting unpacked. My husband and I moved into our house just over 2 years ago and we still haven’t unpacked all the things we put in the basement.

  23. Sheri! Glad you made it (and the kitties survived) 🙂 Gotta love the Keurig!! My husband would probably die without ours.
Anyway, the kitchen pic is gorgeous – keep up the great work!

  24. Congratulations on your successful move. We recently bought a place in Las Vegas and the first two things that I bought were an air mattress to tie me over until the furniture arrived, and a coffee maker. Can’t go very long without one of those.

  25. Glad you made it safe! I am also glad your cats behaved! I know it made the trip more pleasureable. The bedroom and kitchen- the most important parts of the house! The kitchen looks great.

  26. Welcome to Colorado! We moved to Ft. Collins 28+ years and love it here. Your
    kitchen looks great!

  27. Sheri, I’m a little slow on the uptake – somehow I missed the whole moving to Colorado blog! If Loopy has to move out of St Louis – your’re 3 miles from my house – I’m glad you moved to the Fort Collins area – my daughter lives in Evergreen so we get out there several times a year. Thanks heavens I can still get my Loopy Ewe fixes up close & personal!
