Fourth Anniversary Contest!

cupcakeIt’s our favorite Loopy time of year – time to celebrate our anniversary! This month we’re celebrating four years in business. Sometimes it seems like we’ve been doing this for much longer than that, and other times we can’t believe it has been 4 years already. We would not be here, four years later, without each one of you. Thank you for your continued support and encouragement, for your wonderful orders, for your sweet blog and Ravelry posts, for sharing us with your friends, for your emails, comments and testimonials, and for being a part of our Loopy family. We so appreciate you. Not only have you made it possible for us to be around for four years, but you’ve supported numerous indie dyers, indie artisans, and pattern designers in the process. I know you are very much appreciated by all of them as well!

In keeping with tradition, we do have a Loopy Anniversary Kit to share with you, and we’re really excited about it! Tune in to Wednesday’s blog for details on that. It’s alllllllmost ready. As with past kits, this one contains a breakable and must be ordered and shipped on its own, due to careful – and very necessary – packaging.

Speaking of news, we did put more fun stuff up on the website tonight. Just in:

That amazing Royal Alpaca from Aslan Trends that I picked up at market this summer. Available in 22 colors, it’s perfect for sweaters, vests, scarves, and shawls. Or how about making one of a Neverending Scarf? You’d need 2 skeins each of 2 colors. Imagine the fun striping options!

We’ve re-stocked Puppy Snips, which I know you’ve been waiting on. This batch came in red and blue and we’ll pick a good one for you.

We’ve also re-stocked the Perfect Notions Case (and this time I took two out for myself first, instead of assuming that I can just get mine “later”. )

Remember the fun sock blocker keychains that you all have been buying here almost since we opened? Debbie has added mitten blocker keychains and we have them. So cute!

augustDream in Color’s August Dream Club yarn. We will be sharing an exclusive colorway (in different yarn bases) and a pattern each month, between now and next May. This is something new that Dream in Color has come up with, and we know you’ll love it! For this month’s exclusive, they used their popular Smooshy base and flash-dyed a new color (see photo). After you purchase it, we will send you an email with the cute hat pattern attached! If we run out (and we did) and you’d like to get a skein, send us an email (support@theloopyewe.com). There was another store that cancelled their order in this club and we are able to get some more skeins because of that. Also, if you’d like to get on a list to make sure that you get the new exclusive yarn and pattern each month after this, send us an email by this Friday. We’re happy to take pre-orders to ensure that you don’t miss out on this.

And to round out tonight’s update, we have a re-stock (plus new patterns) of Debbie O’Neill’s Nutty Creations line, and I know you love her patterns!

With so many fun things coming up, wouldn’t it be nice to have some Loopy credit to spend? For this month’s blog contest, all you have to do is leave a comment on today’s blog (“Happy Anniversary” or “We love the Loopy Elves” or “Here is my comment” – whatever works for you) to be entered to win one of several $30 Loopy Gift Certificates, one $50 gift certificate, or one $100 gift certificate! We’ll draw next week. I hope YOU win. 🙂

(Winners of last month’s blog contest were Michelle from CA and Amanda from VA – I’ve emailed both of you!)
