Happy Birthday Web Guy!

DSC03801Today is an important day – the birthday of my firstborn. This one made me a mom and made WH a dad, and the second one (Knitting Daughter) sealed the deal! WH and I were happy to have both of them join our family, way back when. (I’m still not sure how that time flew by. It seems like just yesterday that he was having birthday parties in the back yard.) I’m pretty sure he will think this photo of him at 18 months was totally (totally) unnecessary in the post, but it’s my post and this is one of my favorite photos of him when he was little. 🙂

You all know how vital his skills are around here. We couldn’t run The Loopy Ewe without him. But as much as I love having him as our Web Guy, I’m even happier to have him as a son. Happy Birthday, Danny!

  6. Funny how we do enjoy them as adults but some of the most fondest memories that we cherish are when they are children/babies. Web Guy will understand that himself someday when he is a father I’m sure. With parents like the two of you both your children have had great role models. I don’t have to tell you this but you are one lucky Mom to have such wonderful children/young adults.

  18. He is so cute! He still has the same smile now that he had when he was a baby! I love having a child, but they age you, don’t they? I mean that they literally date you, by their age alone you will always know how old you are. Argh! My husband, who is younger than me, six months only mind you, keeps reminding me that I am entering cougar age!

  28. Happy Birthday to Web Guy! My youngest is (I think) Danny’s age, as he also graduated last year. His birthday is next Wednesday and I have some photos that he would rather not see on the web either…but they are so cute and take me back to good memories, as I am sure yours does too.

  47. May 12th must be a great day to be born – we have 2 other friends with 12th birthdays. Your previous post about your MIL’s home being “most like home” was very sweet – our grandmothers homes are gone now and MIL too so it’s very sad to think of all the fun times we had in those places near and dear to our hearts – OK – gotta run – I’m tearing up – Mel
