It’s a busy month, isn’t it? If you’re a Christmas celebrator, do you knit Christmas items during the holidays? I was checking out holiday patterns on Ravelry last week and these are all patterns I now want to knit up.
Striped Christmas Trees by Jeremy Butcher. (Worsted, done in Malabrigo Rios. Also good in Stonehedge or Cascade 220 or 220 Superwash.)

Textured Christmas Tree by Jeremy Butcher. (Worsted, done in Malabrigo Rios. Also good in Stonehedge, Cascade 220 or 220 Superwash.)

Christmas Elf by Lorraine Pistorio (Worsted – try Stonehedge or Cascade 220 or 220 Superwash.)

Christmas Tree Cushions by Squibbly Bups (Super Bulky – try it in Malabrigo Rasta or Spud and Chloe Outer.)

Christmas Toadstool by Kajsa Fredriksson (Designed for any gauge. Try it in Cascade Heritage Solids, Blue Sky Woolstok, or Malabrigo Rios.)

Here We Gnome Again by Sarah Schira (Worsted – try Uncommon Thread Lush Worsted, Malabrigo Rios, or Stonehedge Shepherd’s Wool.)

Gnome De Plume by Sarah Schira (Fingering. Cascade Heritage Silk or Solids, Malabrigo Sock, Jamieson & Smith, or any one of our awesome indie dyed lines!)

Go Big or Go Gnome Hat (Mittens, Sweater) by Sarah Schira (Fingering. Cascade Heritage Silk or Heritage Solids, Uncommon Thread Posh Fingering, Knerd String Fingering, or Jamieson & Smith.)

Christmas Elf Doll by Irina Ferrer (DK – try Uncommon Thread Merino DK or Cascade Ultra Pima.)

Hats by Cassandra May from Little Red Window (Aran – try it in Cascade Superwash Aran or Blue Sky Extra.)

For my own holiday knitting – I’m thinking a little knitted Christmas tree, with a gnome or two and some toadstools would be a great little scene for the mantel. And maybe a Santa or two from last week’s blog post.
What about you? Have you found any other must-make patterns for the month? Are you doing holiday themed knitting this month?
