You know the feeling where you’re in a group of knitters (in person or online) and someone is making/has made something, and suddenly everyone in the group has to make it, too? We’ve gone through that here with the Thursday Night Knit Nighters. Most recently with The Weekender out of Uncommon Thread Lush Worsted and Shindig out of a variety of yarn choices. Now we’re on to brioche with Malabrigo Rios.
There are some really fun brioche patterns out there. For beginners in brioche (which I am), the Brioche Like a Boss Cowl is one good place to start. Here are some color combinations that my friends Pam and Sarah helped me pulled out of our Malabrigo Rios section this week.

Other fun Brioche patterns you might want to check out: Harlow (fingering), All About that Brioche (fingering), Askews Me Shawl (sport), Plumpy (DK), Brioche Bandana Cowl (fingering, also in DK and Worsted), Flashpoint (DK), Snow Day Shawl (sport), Brioche Basix Scarf (worsted), Tistou (DK), Briochealuscious (fingering), and Lemon Difficult (fingering).

Those colors choices are beautiful!
Sure was fun picking out all those beautiful colors of Rios!. This blog post turned out really nice. Everyone should give Brioche Like a Boss a try. It’s fun! And using Rios, it knits up rather quickly. Now, I need to get back to work on mine. Thanks Sheri.
I made Hawthorne Cowl for the last semester of Loopy Academy using Malabrigo Rios. I enjoyed learning Brioche and I will do it again.
