Happy Holidays (and holiday hours)

Wishing you a very Happy Holidays from all of us here at The Loopy Ewe. Hugs all around!

(I was out last week with a virus and missed the whole party. Sad!! Completely recovered now. Just wanted to say Happy Holidays from me as well!)

P.S. Just to stay with our Monday Book Contest tradition: the winners from last week  were: MaryKay Bishop and Allison Brochu. (Emails us at support@theloopyewe.com with your address, and we’ll get these shipped out to you!)

Today’s question is: What project are you working on this week? Also, let us know if you have a book preference, should you win!

*We will be closed in-store December 24-26 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) and January 1 (Tuesday), to celebrate the holidays with our families. Of course we’re always open online, and will look forward to getting your orders packed up and shipped out as soon as we get back in to the shop!

  1. I am working on the Barbara Benson KAL, Confundo. Finished my daughter’s silk scarf last night and now it is my turn to work on stuff just for fun. The scarf book looks interesting.

  2. Merry Christmas!

Just finished a quilt & considering how to replace the wreath I made years ago in college. Need something with more color on a white door.

  3. Happiest of holidays to Sheri and all the Loopy Ewe crew, who make magic with fiber and fabric yr round.

I’m being oh so virtuous working on a Mara shawl for a friend’s Feb. b day, and since I am near the end, I can start the new year w/a project for me!

  4. Happy holidays. I am working on some unfinished Christmas presents. Gin and juice cowl today. If I’m chosen I’d prefer the crochet book. I’m much better st that then knitting

  5. I’m working on a shawl collar sweater by Sirdar for my son Eli! If I win, I’d love the woven scarves book. Happy Holidays to all the elves!!

  6. It is lovely to see all elves there at Loopy Central. Merry Christmas to all and wishes for a Happy New Year.

I am currently working on knitted hats for an orphanage overseas. I’m using wool from Loopy Fling 2013 … in just the right color.

I would like to learn crochet.

  7. I just learned to crochet after knitting for 10 years! I love it! So fun. So if I win of course I want the crochet book!

  8. I’m working on an over-sized afghan for my son. This is his first winter in southern Oregon, and it is much colder there than it was on the Humboldt coast in California. It might take me all winter to finish, but I’ll get there eventually. Happy New Year to all the wise and wonderful Loopy elves!

  9. Happy new year to everyone!

I just entered in two photos for Knights of the Loopy Table. I’m a page! I see some new yarn in the new year. Despite the fact that I spend most of my time weaving, I am competitive enough to try to make it to squire at the minimum.

I already own both books so please don’t make me win! The woven scarf book is really fabulous, by the way.
