We woke up to big fat snowflakes swirling down to the ground this morning! So pretty. (I posted a video on our Instagram page. It was blustery there for awhile!) Of course the sun is now shining brightly and the snow is melting. The forecast says 59 degrees for Friday and snow again on Saturday. What a crazy (wonderful) place to live. 🙂

Have you seen….
… the new colors that Dream in Color is doing? We have been adding them to the website as they come out with them. We’re carrying them on Smooshy Cashmere (because it’s awesome) and will be adding them in City as well (because, have you knit with City? It’s my new favorite worsted. Knits up just a scoatch larger than Classy. City = 4.0 st/in, Classy = 4.5 st/in.)) So far we’ve received the blues, teals, greens and golds in Smooshy Cashmere. They are shipping out the Pinks this week, and the new Purples and Neutrals after that. City colors will start shipping in the next couple of weeks. Pattern Suggestions: Teeter Totter, Spindrift Shawl, All My Stitches, and Sockhead Cowl. Here are just a few of the new ones so far:
… our Loopy Spring Speckles Club? Signups close tomorrow! You’ll be receiving a super cool Box of Fun in February, March and April containing an exclusive skein of color/speckles/pops from a different indie dyer each month, plus a fun extra. Our theme for the extras this time around is “things you need in your knitting bag”. You’ll love them! Click here to secure your spot.
… this article from Psychology Today about the benefits of being creative with your hands, in this age of high-tech? I know I’m preaching to the choir!
Have a great week –
