Blue Moon, Pompons, Cascade, and Monthly Mixer

All kinds of fun things for you today! We just added in:

Pompons – We kind of go nuts around here when the pompons arrive from overseas. They are just too darn cute. I found these at a lovely knitting shop in Dublin this winter, and ordered a bunch for all of us when I got home. And since you all seem to love them as much as I do, we had to order more (including some new colors). Great for hats, but also for tassles on a sweater or coat, corners of blankets, on zippers of project bags, and on ends of scarves or shawls. Soft and beautiful, not made from animal fur.

Blue Moon July Exclusive – This month, we have two of my favorite colors – denim blue and red. I used it to make a cowl, but I am also going to need socks out of this. And probably a hat and gloves. The colorway is called Sailing, but we also might have named it Casual Friday, Loopy Blues, or Favorite Jeans. I just love it.

Buttons And we’ve added in more buttons, too! Because buttons are fun to collect, and fun to add to project bags, totes, quilts, wall hangings, and of course sweaters.

Cascade – We’ve added in another big re-stock of 220, 220 Superwash, 220 Superwash Aran, Ultra Pima, Heritage Sock Solids, Superwash Sport, and 220 Superwash Wave.

Our last Yarn Update included: Wollmeise in all bases – Pure, Twin, Blend, DK and Lace.

Our August Monthly Mixer Challenge celebrates HOT summer times! Pick yarn or fabric in HOT colors (reds, oranges, yellows) and make something fun. Don’t forget to take pictures – we love seeing what you’re making.

This is our last month of Monthly Mixer Challenges, as we have a cool new thing starting up in September (in addition to the new year of Loopy Academy). We’ll announce both Academy challenges and the new thing on Monday, September 4th.

Have fun shopping through the new things, and we’ll get your orders right out!
