Monday Update: Exclusives and Other Happy Colors

Happy February! I hope you’re working along and making beautiful progress on your projects this winter. Need some more colors in your life? (Don’t we all?) Today, we added in:

Blue Moon Fiber Arts January Exclusive Colorway – One Color-Steeped Step at a Time. I know – it’s February. Our January color was a little late in getting to us, but hopefully that means you’ll have TWO exclusives in February. I used my skein to knit a Starshower Cowl and I love how it turned out. (My first Christmas present for 2017 is done!) As always, we’ll be sending along a notecard with the inspiration photo, for each skein that you buy.

Knerd String – Fingering Weight. We love Renee’s gorgeous dyeing and are happy to carry 50 different colors to give you lots of options. Beautiful for one-color projects, but we also gravitate towards it when picking 2 and 3 color projects, because it’s so fun to pull colors together.

Stonehedge Fiber Mill Shepherd’s Wool Worsted. That might be the longest yarn base name that we have. Always popular for sweaters and vests, afghans and shawls, warm hats and mittens, and we carry it in all of the colors for you.

Dream in Color’s February 2017 Set Dream in Color is doing a Mini Dream Club for three months, dyeing up yarn that can be paired with Joji Locatelli patterns. This is the first month and the set contains 2 skeins of their Cosette DK, with a suggestion to use it with Joji’s The Way from Brighton shawl. (Pattern available via Ravelry.) Cosette DK is 70% Merino Wool, 20% Cashmere and 10% Nylon with 270 yards per skein (so 540 yards in this month’s set.) We’ll have a March and April Set in this Mini Dream Club, too.

  1. I was in Dublin last summer and loved it. I had a nice morning shopping at This is Knit and a good lunch at the shop across the way. And there was lots of rain in June and July too.
