Malabrigo, JulieSpins, Fibernymph and More!

I hope you had a sweet (and safe) Halloween and a great weekend. And now it is November. Can you believe that? This year is flying by. Let’s celebrate with new yarn! Just up, we added in:

JulieSpins Euro Sock – I always love the colors that Julie comes up with. (And they are seldom repeated, as she likes doing new things. The lesson there? If you like it, buy it when you see it!) Euro Sock is 100% Superwash Merino in a fingering weight, with 435 yards to the skein. This 4-ply yarn is tightly twisted, making it work for socks, shawls, sweaters and more. Pattern Ideas: Multnomah, Spatterdash Wristwarmers, Show-off Stranded Socks, Aquaphobia Socks, and Akimbo.

Fibernmph Dye Works Inversibles – It’s always fun to get Inversibles in from Lisa! You get two 200-yard skeins of 80% superwash Merino/20% Nylon, that are dyed up opposite each other. So one might knit up black with pink stripes, and the other will knit up pink with black stripes. Pick a fun color and make some new socks (or mitts, or mittens, or a hat with the brim done in one color and the body done in another). We also have these in Christmas colors – cardinal and forest green. Pattern ideas: Jaywalker, Self-Striping Socks, Blurred Lines, and Checkerwork Hat.

Malabrigo Arroyo – Spun from soft (and washable) wool, this sport weight yarn has been very popular for sweaters, but also works well for warm winter hats, scarves, sweaters and shawls. Pattern Ideas: Even Flow, Boneyard Shawl, Susie Rogers’ Reading Mitts, and G’day Boomerang.

Black Water Abbey Patterns – We added in this wonderful yarn line a few weeks ago in fingering, sport and worsted weights, and now we have all of the patterns available for you via pdf. This rustic wool has great stitch definition and the cables in these patterns really pop. If you’re local, pop in the shop and see the trunk show of sweaters and vests that we have on display!

The Loopy Ewe Project Totes – More clear Loopy totes for your projects big and small, as well as smaller sizes to hold all of your knitting notions.

Row by Row Kits – If you’re a quilter, you probably heard about Row by Row this summer, where each participating shop designed a row and offered a pattern to in-store customers. As of November 1st, we are allowed to post and sell these online, so we added them today!

And finally, we added a few additional colors in Cascade Heritage Silk, Superwash Sport, and Superwash Aran.

Have fun shopping through the new things, and pick something nice for yourself!
