Cold Weather Knitting

IsseyBrrrr. Cold weather means hats, scarves and mittens/gloves around here. Fortunately, there are lots of patterns just perfect for this season! (Check out the 10 Quick Projects blog post, which links to lots of fun patterns to try out.) Today, I wanted to share a project that Knitting Daughter just finished. I want to make this pattern, myself. I wish you could feel it! The pattern makes the fabric so smoosh-able and warm. This is the Issey Scarf, which calls for a sport weight yarn. Julia knit this with three skeins of Breathless DK in the color Ore.

Have you found any fun scarf patterns lately? If so, leave us a link in the comments so we can check them out!

  7. I’m currently knitting a linen stitch scarf! so soft. This is my second one. I love the Mobius Cowl too out of Malabrigo Rios. I’ve made a couple (3) of those, and they are all luscious!

  8. I wish you would show some crochet patterns, in addition to knitting, please. πŸ™‚ I can’t knit much anymore because of the rheumatoid arthritis in my hands.

  9. I wish you would show some crochet patterns for scarves, shawls (not triangular), etc, in addition to knitting, please if you know of any. πŸ™‚ I can’t knit much anymore because of the rheumatoid arthritis in my hands.
